Mark walked into street by street, having only one thing on mind, which was to kill his three enemies, but first make them suffer plenty of pain that they had done on him every single day.
But I am going to make them suffer more, Mark thought darkly as the shadow laughed.
He looked left and right before crossing the road to the street's path that he knew would bring him closer to his enemies favourite place to hang out that was an alleyway nobody like walking into. But once he reached the other side, something shiny caught his eye. It made him look at the grass that it sat hidden in and walk over to pick up the unkown object. Picking it up, he looked at it and felt giddy with excitement.
It was a sharp kitchen knife that looked awfully familiar to the one he had used a couple of times, but he didn't seem to take notice under the control of the shadow.
Finally making it to the dark alleyway, Mark smiled wickedly as he walked into it. He quickly spotted them somewhere there smoking as they burned paper with their lighters and chucked them in nearby bins. Causally walking up to to them, he smiled eerily as he held onto the knife behind his back.
"Why the fuck are you here?" Jake asked with a glare.
"Woah...you really did break his nose," The shadow said once Mark looked at the white bandages on Jake's nose, then cracked up laughing.
Not giving them an answer, Mark slowly walked up to Jake and glared back at him. "You deserve everything I do next, you fucken bastard," He said as he put the knife in front of him with his eerie smile widening.
"Drop the knife," Kyle said, holding a gun he had suddenly grabbed from inside his leather jacket.
Mark turned around and looked at the gun in Kyle's hand as his smile slightly vanished, but he put it right back because he didn't want to show any fear. He looked behind and saw Jake smiling widely, which made an idea suddenly come into his mind.
In one quick motion, Mark was behind Jake with the knife against his throat.
"Drop the gun and I won't kill him," Mark ordered, smiling wickedly.
"I'll just shoot you before that happens," Kyle said with a wide smile.
"Hurry up then," Make said, digging the sharp end into Jake's neck more that it was close to bleeding.
"Idiot," Kyle snorted and was about to pull the trigger, but was interrupted by Michael.
"Don't!" Michael said, more louder than he intended.
"Why fuck should I do that?" Jake asked, lowering the gun a bit.
"Jake could be killed during that," Michael said after a moment, nearly saying something else.
"For fucks sake," Kyle muttered under his breath as he lowered the gun to the ground.
As Kyle bent down to place it on the ground, Mark watched with amusement as Michael looked relieved. But suddenly, the gun in Kyle's hand was raised back at Mark without any of his control.
"You would kill you own friend to kill me? Am I that bad you would risk his own life?" Mark asked, finding it hilarious, as well as the shadow did.
"Drop the gun, Kyle," Michael ordered with fear quivering in his voice.
Kyle didn't move a single muscle, only kept the gun raised at Mark who still kept the knife against Jake's throat.
"I said drop the gun!" Mark yelled.
Bored, Mark slit Jake's throat with on single swipe and kicked the bleeding body towards them. Kyle looked at his friend of the floor for a split second and then looked up at the one who did it, anger clear in his eyes.
The sound of a gunshot by the gun in Kyle's hand echoed loudly.
Quickly moving the left to avoid being shot, Mark smiled as he suddenly ran towards Kyle and punched him in the face. The gun dropped onto the ground, along with Kyle's body that had become unconcious by the hard punch. Michael watched him pick up the gun and admire it a bit with an eerie smile. He then pointed the gun at Jake and shot him three times, making sure he was completely dead.
Once he had shot Jake, Mark looked up at Michael, walking forward with the gun raised at him.
"Wait–" Michael was shot before he could finish what he wanted to say.
"Now, who do you think deserves to be dead next?" The shadow asked, excitedly.
"My family," Mark answered as he walked out of the alley with the gun in hand.
"Actually, let's shoot strangers. There's a crowd coming our way," The shadow said.
Mark walked into another street that lead to the main part of the town. People wandered about, some with others whilst some walked alone. Everyone who he walked past in the town gave him disgusted stares and angry glares, but it didn't bother him because he had a gun to wipe out those faces only reserved for him.
Well, this is going to be fun, Mark thought as he raised a gun at a random person near him. So wickedly fun.
________________________________Just letting you know incase you haven't heard but Shadow is being put on hold. It was before but I had surprisingly ended up writing a chapter. So, it's on hold until I write the next chapter and so on.
Anyways, what are your thoughts on this chapter? I always like hearing all you theories and comments. Some have made me laugh, while some theories was something I actually never and have thought of. Every read, vote and comment means a lot to me!
You probably already know this but we have around four chapters and an epilogue to go! When I do finish it, I'm going to edit it but not rewrite. I don't think I want to waste my time rewriting this story.
Yikes! I'm speaking to much, aren't I? Next chapter is going to be shorter but it's going to be wicked and a lot of screaming will be involved! Okay, this is all I wanted to say!
See you all next update that I hope will be soon!
