The next day, Helena, as well as the rest of the gang arrived in front of the mirror that goes to NRC.

"Make sure no ones sees us," said Cross. "Apart from Helena, all of us are wanted by authorities,"

"It's only 6am, Mirage. No one would be out here," said Jamie.

"Anyway, let's get there quickly," said Linus.

Shortly afterwards, they arrived at the school. The gang set up a camp outside the gates.

"Ok. Let me add the finishing touch," said Linus. "Chameleon!"

The tent turned "invisible".

"Wow! We can't see anything at all! Even with the torch!" said Georgina.

"So your unique magic makes things invisible," said Sara.

"Not exactly. My unique magic can make anything I touch change colors according to the environment like a chameleon," explained Linus.

"I brought supplies that can keep us for a month," said Mr.Simpson.

"Would that be enough for you to complete the mission?" asked Jonathan.

"I can finish it within weeks," replied Helena.

"Good," said Linus. He then handed her a walkie-talkie. "Keep in touch, and don't forget about what Cross said about getting the stones."

"Roger," said Helena while giving a salute.

"That's my girl." smiled Linus.

The next day, in Class 3-A, the homeroom teacher introduced a new student.

"Good morning everyone. This is our new transfer student, Helena Stevens from Afterglow Savannah. From today on she'll be part of our class and I'd like you all to be welcoming and helpful towards her."

The whole class clapped.

"Hey, she's from our hometown," whispered Leona to Rook.

"And she's so hot too," Rook did the same.

"Your seat will be next to Hunt-san, Stevens-san," said the homeroom teacher. Helena then walked towards the seat next to Rook.

"Bonjour, mademoiselle. My name is Rook, Rook Hunt. I'm from Afterglow Savannah too you know," said Rook, leaning towards Helena.

Helena immediately gave him a death glare and stepped back.

"Stop it, please. You're making me sick," said Helena. Though there was no visible anger on her face, her voice was as hard as stone.

"My apologies, mademoiselle. You see, I got really excited when-"

"Shut the f**k up and stop calling me mademoiselle," Helena gripped Rook's necktie. The rest of the students, including Leona stared and gasped.

"Now now, Stevens-san. No swearing in class," said the homeroom teacher.

"I'm sorry," said Helena. She then settled down at her seat before giving Rook another glare.

During break time, Helena remained in her seat, quietly observing her classmates.

"Why don't you go out on such a lovely day?" asked a familiar voice.

Helena sighed. It was none other than her neighbour, Rook.

"That's none of your business, bob-cut, but you're right, I shall go out and have a stroll," said Helena.

"If you need directions, don't hesitate to find me!" Rook said as he waved his hand at Helena who was leaving the classroom.

Within minutes, Helena arrived at the botanical gardens.

"It's a lovely place, to be honest," she thought. "It would be a shame to destroy it."

"Leona! I bought you your iced tea!" said a voice. Helena turned around and saw a fair-skinned boy with dirty blonde hair and ears on his head.

"That must be Ruggie Bucchi. The teacher told me that he's always tagging along Leona," mumbled Helena.

"Oh, there you are, Iron Lady," yawned Leona, who was lying beside Helena's right feet.

Helena startled a bit, then proceed to greet him.

"Hello, Kingscholar-sama," said Helena.

"No need to be so formal with me. Just Leona's fine," said Leona. "Sorry about Rook earlier. He's just...a weirdo,"

"I can see that. It's not your fault," said Helena.

"And you know what, he stalks people he finds interesting, including me," sighed Leona.

"He...stalks people?" said Helena with a disgusted face.

"Yes. Therefore try not to catch his attention," said Ruggie.

"Ok. Thank you for your advice," said Helena. She then exited the botanical garden.

"Ruggie and Leona are right. I must avoid that bob-cut as much as possible. He's someone I won't want to associate with," thought Helena.
