Chapter 25

They had come inside now and Payton was talking to jaden all about his music and then they began to catch up. I didn't realise how far they went back and it made me smile to see jaden get all excited. It was nice to meet them especially cause the boys have talked about Payton and Jackson so much I just hadn't clicked in who they were.

They all talked and Riley came over to me and began a conversation.

Riley-"you seem really sweet"
Paige-"thank you. You do to" I said smiling up at her. I wished I had the confidence she had. She would say it how it is and not be scared of what other thought. It was so cool and If I had that sort of confidence I would tell her.

Riley-"thanks... are you and Quinton a thing" she said nudging me slightly looking up at Quinton who was glancing in our direction.
Paige-"yeah actually" I laughed.
Riley-"awww that's so cute" she had hearts in her eyes. She turned to face me again looking away from Quinton.

Riley-"I just wanted to say the hate you were getting was unnecessary and you shouldn't listen to them"
My eyes widened a bit and I heard her laugh.
Paige-"thank you.... I erm...."
Riley-"hey it's okay. I don't bite" she said pretending to bite the air I laughed at the girl before continuing. I don't know we're this burst of confidence came from but I'm glad it did.
Paige-"I love how confident you are and I wish I could be like that. Your not scared of conference and I love that it's honestly amazing how you do it" I said all at once very quickly this time her eyes widened
Riley-"why thank you. I just say it how it is I think that's the best Route to go for" she said in a posh accent whilst smiling at me.

Me and Riley got to know each other and mads came and joined in on our conversations. Jackson and Payton mainly talked to the boys but did have a few conversations with me. It had been about 45 minutes as the others came down to sway. So now all the people I had met at the cafe were here.

Ansley and Eliza came over to Riley and hugged mads whilst doing so. They said hi to me. I'm guessing they knew mads or something I don't know but I shrugged it of trying not to overthink the whole situation. It turned slightly awkward well for me anyways. I felt pushed aside a bit. It was probably just me thinking about everything that could go wrong but I can't help that. I was so thankful when Quinton picked up on it and helped me out.

Quinton-"hey p come here a sec" I nodded getting up saying see you in a bit to the girls. They smiled and Riley told me to come back as soon as possible.

Paige-"did you need me" I questioned him.
Quinton-"no but I could see you were tense and uncomfortable" he said casually throwing his arm over my shoulder. He walked me over to where the boys were talking.

Jaden-"hey p what's up"
Paige-"nothing" I said looking up at him. He sympathetically smiled he knows better but didn't want to bring it up in front of everyone.
Jaden-"okay... we were just talking about going out for a meal later"
Paige-"mmm sounds good" I nodded as they smiled at me.
Paige-"where were you thinking of going"
Jackson-"jus somewhere nice not chick-fil-a before you say Payton"
Paige-"mhm chick-fil-a is nice what are you on about" I said teasing him.
Payton-"see someone agrees. I think we are going to be friends" he says smiling wide at me.
Griffin-"so all it takes to be friends with you is for them to like chick-Fil-a. Okay noted" he said nodding his head making me laugh.
Josh-"anyways where should we go" he said turning the attention onto me.
Paige-"woah woah woah... I'm one of the youngest here and you want me to decided where we go for food"
Bryce-"basically yes"
Paige-"what about the Italian a few minutes from here" I said shrugging.
Dylan-"sounds good with me" the others nodded in agreement and Anthony went to tell the others.

We had all gone to our rooms to get ready. Those who aren't apart of sway went to the apartment they were renting out to get ready. They said they would meet us there. We all Weren't wearing anything to fancy I just threw on some jeans and a cute off the shoulder shirt. I wore some black heeled boots and grabbed a cute black bag. I went down the stairs to see most of the house ready. Yet again we were waiting for Anthony and mads with the added extra of Noah to.

We had been waiting for five minutes and if we didn't hurry up we would miss our reservation.

Paige-"CMON GUYS WE HAVE TO GO"
Mads-"ONE SEC" she shouted down followed by a thunder of footsteps. Okay one down two to go.
Bryce-"IF YOU TWO DONT GET YOUR ASSES DOWN HERE NOW WE WILL LEAVE WITHOUT YOU"
Next thing we know a bedroom door opens and closes and Noah come running out slipping his shoe on.
Josh-"ANTHONY REEVES GET YOUR ASS DOWN HERE NOW!"
Finally after a few more boys yelled a floppy haired Anthony came down the stairs.

Paige-"why are you always last"
Anthony-"I was busy on fortnite" he shrugged as I laughed walking out the door to the car. Quinton opened the door for me and I smiled as Blake piled in as he was still holding the door.

We began to drive to the restaurant down town and go get out dinner.
