Chapter 9

The drive to coast was quite calm we listend to music and some of jadens songs even though he didn't want to. Quinton and me Had an on and off conversation about what we had been up to. As we pulled up to the coast the other boys were already here.

Josh-"Paige!!"
Noah-"you came"
Paige-"yeah" I let out an awkward laugh.
Griffin-"good to see you" he said wrapping an arm over my shoulder.
Paige-"you too... what's the plan"
Blake-"beach?"
Kio-"Arcade?"
Bryce-"funfair?"
Anthony-"food?"
Paige-"I think Anthony has the best plan"
Bryce-"of course you do" he said rolling his eyes before laughing.
Quinton-"food it is" he grabbed my hand as we walked ahead of the boys.

Jaden-"Quinton Paige. What about here" he said pointing to a restaurant we had walked by and hadn't noticed. I looked at Quinton who nodded his head so we headed in that direction.

Quinton-"your sitting next to me" he said picking me up and throwing me over his shoulder.
Paige-"okay" I laughed at him as we got to the entrance he placed me down on the floor As the lady came and got us a table, well multiple tables pushed together so we could all sit together.
Mads-"paigeeee"
Paige-"madsssss"
Mads-"come sit here" she said patting the seat next to her.
Paige-"if you want to sit next to me you have will have to sit over there" I said turning to Quinton.
Quinton-"anything as long as you don't leave me" he pouted.
Paige-"cmon then" I laughed as we went and sat down next to mads.

We ordered our food and talked whilst we waited.
Kio-"you do know we miss you when we don't see you right?"
Paige-"awww you guys missed me"
Josh-"no seriously p we do miss you"
Paige-"I know and I'm glad cause I miss you guys to"
Anthony-"why don't you just come when mads does"
Paige-"cause I have other things as well to do" I said looking down at my drink.
Quinton-"let's talk about something else" he nudged me in the arm slightly and I smiled up to him and nodded.
Quinton-"like why are you so small"
All boys burst out laughing.
Paige-"yeah cause I choose my height"
Quinton-"and why are you so young"
Paige-"q were the same age?"
Bryce-"yeah freshman" he said patting him on his back.
Quinton-"your younger than me" he said pointing to me.
Paige-"by a month"
Kio-"you guys are so young"
Paige-"or maybe you guys are so old"
Josh-"ooooohhhh"

We all stopped talking as our food arrived. We quickly ate the food so we could go do something fun.

Blake-"where to after here"
Noah-"beach!!!"
We laughed at him before most of them nodded in agreement. I gulped and I think mads noticed.

Mads-"what's up with you and the beach today?"
Paige-"nothing I just don't want to go in the water"
Mads-"oh okay? We could just tan"
Paige-"yeah let's do that"
She smiled at me as we payed and walked over to the beach.

Quinton quickly picked me up and threw me over his shoulder.
Paige-"Quinton don't I haven't got a bikini on or any spare clothes"
He wasn't listening to me.
Paige-"Quinton stop don't" I said slightly hitting his back.
Quinton-"huh Paige" he said stoping.
Paige-"please don't" I sniffled a little.
Quinton-"your not crying are you" this was my chance to get him to stop.
Paige-"n...n...no" I sniffled some more trying to form tears. It didn't take long for tears to form cause he put his hand on a bruise that had formed on my stomach causing me feel the shooting pain. I winced at the pain.

Paige-"q please don't" now I could feel the tears filling my eyes.
Quinton-"shit Paige don't cry" he put me down and looked at me.
Quinton-"why are you crying"
Paige-"erm well.... it's ya know" I need an excuse now. I can't say oh yeah my boyfriend hit me and I can't go in the sea otherwise all my friends will see the marks and bruises.
Quinton-"it's okay I'm your friend I'm not going to judge just say"
Paige-"I'm on my period!" Shit, first thing that came to my head.
Quinton-"oh. Well come on let's go sit on the sand then" he smiled at me and it made me relax even though I had lied to him.

Me mads and Quinton were sitting on the sand. I told both of them that they didn't have to stay but they insisted on keeping me company. We played some music whilst laying in the sun. Jaden did picked mads up and chucked her into the sea at one point but she came back about 20 minutes later. We spent about a hour and a half sunbathing before all the boys came back.

Josh-"can we go the funfair now"
Kio-"yeah I want to go on the Ferris wheel"
Quinton-"I want to watch Paige get scared"
Bryce-"oh yeah I forgot you don't like the fair"
Paige-"I do like the fair"
Jaden-"you don't paige"
Paige-"yeah I do"
Mads-"she likes the fair..."
Paige-"thank you"
Mads-"just not many of the rides"
Blake-"cmon lets go then"
Griffin-"we need to dry of first"
Quinton-"we can go then" he said pointing to me mads and himself.
Noah-"but you won't leave us" he said batting his eyelashes.
Paige-"we won't leave you"
Anthony-"she's to nice" he said laughing before slipping on his shirt.

We walked down to the pier letting the boys dry of.
Anthony-"can we get Cotten candy"
Paige-"your an adult you can get what you want"
Kio-"but your not" he said pointing to me sticking his tongue out.
Paige-"shut up kio"
Bryce-"awww she getting nervous"
Paige-"why would I be getting nervous"
Blake-"the rides"
Josh-"duh?"
Paige-"In not nervous for the rides"
Jaden-"so your going to go on them?"
Paige-"erm yeah"
Quinton-"come on then" he grabbed my hand and ran ahead straight into the fairground.
