Chapter 17

Mads-"you done yet" she shouted knocking on my bedroom door.
Paige-"yeah come in" I replied as I slipped my heels on and walked into the bathroom to check my hair. She followed suit and did the same.

Mads-"cmon lets go see the boys"
Paige-"is q down there yet"
Mads-"didn't see him"
Paige-"oh okay" I sighed
Mads-"why do you want to talk to him so bad"
Paige-"I don't know. He's my boy bestie"
Mads-"mhm" she giggled then left my room.

What was funny... he was my boy best friend. I just like spending time with him, having our own inside jokes, play fighting, hearing his voice and shit! I like like him. I thought I liked him before this before I went out with mason but after mason asked me out I buried the feelings and well I guess they are back. I slumped down on my bed. Nooooo noooo nooo. You can't like him he's literally been your best friend for too long to like him. Oh for fuck sake.

Quintons PoV

She fell asleep on my chest last night so I carried her into her room and tucked her in. She was so peaceful sleeping no worries no stress she was calm. It was great to see her like that after everything these past few weeks.

I liked her I really did but I knew she didn't feel the same way about me... I knew she never would as well. I hated that. I have liked her for what seems like ever now. I hate the the fact I was too late in asking her out and she got stuck with that asshole for a few months. I hate that she will never look at me as something more as her best friend.

I decided to go buy us some coffee as I knew it was going to be a long day for her and mads shopping. I came back to her up and getting ready to go shopping. She smiled at me and that smile could melt my heart 1000 times over.

Her and mads had just left and I sighed as Jaden walked by.

Jaden-"what's up Quinton ?"
Quinton-"does Paige ever talk about me"
Jaden-"yeah all the time"
Quinton-"wait really"
Jaden-"yeah she says thing about how she's so lucky to have someone like you and how sweet you are too her"
Quinton-"oh okay"
Jaden-"why"
Quinton-"just wondering if she did"

He nodded his head and walked off so I went to my room. I lay back on my bed sighing looking at the time. I need to move on and get over this stupid crush I have on her, it's never going to turn into something.

I scrolled through my contacts til I found the one I was looking for. We haven't spoke in god knows how long and I don't know why I'm doing this cause I don't like her.

??-"oh hey what do you want"
Quinton-"want to come over"
??-"what now?"
Quinton-"yeah... like old times?"
??-"be over in 10"

I don't know why I did that I don't know what made me do that but now I have a girl from my high school who I don't really know coming over. I fucked up big time.

I went to sit by the entrance of the house so non of the boys would see me sneaking Beth in. I sighed as a car pulled up outside and I hear her thank the driver. She walked up to the house and before she could knock I opened the door.

Beth-"wow already waiting for me" she laughed smugly.
Quinton-"cmon before one of the boys see"
Beth-"ashamed?"
Quinton-"no but they won't be happy with me"

Kio Anthony noah and josh all knew about my crush on Paige but promised to never tell anyone. At one pint they told me she liked me back but she couldnt. If they saw me bringing Beth in they not only would be confused but also probably be annoyed at me. I led Beth down to my room and quickly closed the door as I heard her giggle. What have i got myself into.

Back to Paiges PoV

I walked down the stairs and into the kitchen where the boys were. I looked around at the drinks they had brought and the majority of them were white claws. I mentally face palmed whilst letting out a slight chuckle.

Griffin-"you can't drink to much"
Paige-"whatever"
Noah-"p he's serious"
Paige-"mhm"

I knew they were and I don't usually drink that much but I just enjoy annoying them.

Mads-"you do know she's only doing that to get a reaction out of you all which you gave her" I nodded alongside mads.
Kio-"just watching out for her"
Jaden-"shes like my little sister i don't want her hurt again" he slightly nudged me as I fell into mads who giggled and helped me up.

All the boys other than Quinton were down in the kitchen and Anthony had gone knock on see if he was ready for the party. It was strange of him to not answer me and then also be late to the party but I tried not to think to much about it.

Soon enough guests started to arrive and i ran straight up to charli.

Charli-"oh my god p!!"
Paige-"char" I shouted as i jumped into her arms. Me and charli hugged each other before breaking away.
Paige-"Dixie" I gave her a hug too. Me and charli were way closer but I still love hanging out with Dixie.

As more and more guests started to fill up the house the less and less people I recognised. I had lost charli way back and I haven't got a clue where any of the sway house members were. That was until I saw Quinton. I was about to run up to him and jump on his back but I saw him sneak a girl down the stairs. I looked over to him making eye contact before I turned the other way and ran off down the hallway to one of the many rooms in this house. I felt my checks flushed and my eyes water as I locked my self into the bathroom.
