Chapter 10

Josh-"wait for us" he shouted after us.

Me and Quinton brought a wristband to let us go on any of the rides and the others did the same.

Anthony-" I'm going to go find the cotton candy"
Paige-"I'm coming with"
Bryce-"scared?"
Paige-"no I just want some Cotten candy"
Jaden-"how about we all go get some and then go on the rides"
Noah-"sounds like a good idea"
Griffin-"great idea"
They all smirked at each other before looking at my face. I knew I was nervous for the rides but I wasn't going to prove them right.
Paige-"yeah you're right what a good idea"
The smirk was wiped from their faces and they all looked confused but didn't question it any more.

We had ate our Cotten candy and I was being dragged of in a direction of a ride.
Quinton-"let's start of easy" he whispered to me. I smiled at him before he took me in the direction of the carousel. I giggled as he gave me his hand to help me up onto the horse.

Paige-"thank you"
Quinton-"your very welcome."

The others came on to and we each had our own horse. When we got off the boys came over to me and Quinton.
Blake-"not scared?"
Noah-"to be fair it wasn't bad"
Kio-"can we go on the Ferris wheel please"
Mads-"yeah I want to go on it pleaseeeee"
Anthony-"ferris wheel it is"
Quinton-"will you be fine"
Paige-"erm yeah I will."
Quinton-"okay who you sitting next to?"
Paige-"you?" I looked up at him with a hopeful look in my eyes.
Quinton-"yeah sure" he smiled at me before we queued up for the Ferris wheel. Me and Quinton were the last ones on out of our friend group. I sat in there seat as it rocked and I could feel myself tense up. Quinton quickly sat next to me and put his arm over my shoulder.

Quinton-"you'll be okay don't worry" just as he said that the door shut and we started to move. It didn't take to long til we were quarter of the way up.

Paige-"I'm not sure I like this" I said turning to face him.
Quinton-"just try and relax a bit you'll be fine I'm here" I shuffled closer to him and he wrapped his arm around me.

We were now at the highest point.
Paige-"q I really don't like it how long til we get down" I could feel myself shake underneath his grasp
Quinton-"close your eyes tiny" I did and I felt us slowly move around the Ferris wheel. When I opened my eyes we were near the bottom and most of our friends were out and waiting.

Jaden-"their they Are" he pointed up to us
Noah-"hey" he waved. Quinton waves back but I didn't take my hands of the restraints.

Once we were down and out they all started to talk about what ride we should go on next.

Bryce-"cmon let go on that" he said pointing to the roller coaster insight.
Paige-"really" I scratched my arm before Jaden put his arm around my shoulder.
Jaden-"really. You will have fun"
Paige-"j I'm not scared"
Jaden-"your shaking"
Paige-"I'm cold"
Jaden-"sav it's boiling out"
Paige-"okay I'm a tad scared don't tell the others"
Jaden-"they know but I won't" he smiled releasing me and walking back over to mads and linking hands.
Quinton-"you good"
Paige-"mhm"
Quinton-"you don't have to go on it"
Paige-"I'm going on... will you sit next to me"
Quinton-"me?"
Paige-"the others will make fun of me. You won't"
Quinton-"well..."
Paige-"okay you will but you won't in front of them"
Quinton-"okay then let's go"

I slowly trailed behind everyone until we got into the queue line. A woman asked for out wristbands and they all showed them to her. We got to our seats and I gulped as the restraints went over our heads.

Paige-"I'm not sure I want to do this now"
Quinton-"I think it's too late"
Paige-"what do you mean" just as I said that the ride shot of. I screamed and quickly grabbed Quintons hand.
Paige-"I don't like it"
Josh-"we knew you didn't" he shouted from behind us. I quickly shot my head behind me to see josh and Blake smirking at me.
Paige-"hey!"
Blake-"what your loud" they laughed I turned back around closing eyes tight before shouting to Quinton
Paige-"q don't let go"
Quinton-"I won't"
Mads-"you okay mousey" mads shot her head from in front of us through the tiny gap and looked at me. She gave me a sympathetic smile knowing how much I hate rides.
Paige-"not really" I replied closing my eyes again and squeezing Quintons hand tighter.

This went on through the whole ride until I finally got of.

Paige-"I don't really like rides"
Griffin-"we know"
Anthony-"why did you go on"
Kio-"yeah you didn't have to
Paige-"to prove a point but I don't think I really did"
Bryce-"your still alive"
Paige-"yes I'm still alive"
Jaden-"is their anything anyone wants to go on"

A few people pointed to different rides other than Quinton and me.

Paige-"do you not want to go on anything"
Quinton-"no i want to go somewhere with you"
Paige-"q I can wait on my own if you want to go on the rides."
Quinton-"no I want to go over their with you" he pointed to the arcade. I smiled at him before I grabbed his hand and shouted where we were going to the others.

Quinton-"what do you want to go on first" he said as we entered the dim lit building.
Paige-"that" I pointed over to the dance machine thing.
Quinton-"really?"
Paige-"yep"
Quinton-"okay I will watch you"
Paige-"no pleaseeeee do it with me." I pouted at the boy who sighed and ran over to the machine. I quickly ran after him and he entered the money

I picked the song and we both tried our best at the game. I was relatively good at it to be fair however Quinton wasn't the best. Once the game was over it was obvious I had won. I smirked and he looked down at me and smiled.

Quinton-"thanks for the embarrassment"
Paige-"hey your a tiktoker I thought you might be good at this"
Quinton-"I know the tiktok dances not one of these." He nudged me slightly before continuing "anyways you are quite big on tiktok too"
Paige-"yeah and I beat you at the game idiot"
We both laughed before Quinton chose the next one to go on.
