I padded down the stairs to enter the dining room, everyone already seated.

I pulled out a chair, Yao placing a plate of food in front of me.

Reader: Thank you.

Arthur: Still, a vampire hunter? This isn't settling well with me.

!

Did Ivan tell them?

I made a pointed glance his way yet he continued to sit there, eating nonchalantly.

He caught my gaze, smiling.

There's no way he would, right?

Yao: I obviously don't 'like' it either. Prowling around the grounds...

Yao: I can notice a hunter over a mile away. I just wish I knew why they were here.

He slowly turned, looking at me.

I darted my gaze away.

Arthur: You're being awfully relaxed about this, Ivan.

Ivan: Why wouldn't I be? It's one hunter.

Feliciano: With so many vampires living here it's a wonder they hadn't come before.

Arthur: Because they had common sense. They knew they'd be torn apart in seconds.

T-torn apart?

My mind wandered back to the vampire that bit me, Ivan 'handling' it.

Would they really have no qualms about killing a person?

After all, they did threaten to kill me should I try running away.

I'd like to think they've changed somewhat since then, though there isn't solid evidence supporting that wish.

Still, it was a relief Ivan hadn't shared what happened yesterday.

I didn't need anyone else knowing something so deep and personal.

No, only Ivan could know.

A/N: Hello everyone! Sorry for the lack of updates. Good news is that you should see several new chapters being uploaded this week up until the final chapter of Ivan's Route! Then all will be added into the game version for you to enjoy. Thanks for not only reading but sticking around <3
