It was Sunday morning, Emma was cleaning the house while her mother was preparing to go to the Market.
“Nak, Punta lang akong tindahan, bibili ako nang pananghalian natin.” Paalam ni Emily sa kanya.
Emily brought her basket with her and she wore a simple hat with colourful feathers on the side .
“Sige ho nay mag-ingat po kayo nay ha” bilin ni Emma sa kaniya and she kissed her on the cheek.
“See you later nak.”
“Okay bye ma.” Emma closed the door when she left.
She spend the whole morning cleaning the house from the second floor to the front yard. She was then exhausted, so she decided to have a sit and take a rest. Emma didn’t notice that she fell asleep.
When she waked up wala pa ang kaniyang nanay, nasa trabaho parin ang kaniyang tatay at ang kaniyang kapatid . She was so bored, so she walked upstairs and go to the balcony.
When Emma reached the balcony, She saw the majestic view of the ocean, the air was so soothing and she felt relaxed and calm. While she was seeing the view na-alala niya yung nangyari kagabi.
“ Oh my god!.... it was so embarrassing, nakita niya siguro ako na tinatanaw ko siya sa malayo”. Emma covered her face and wiped it because of frustration .
And his handsome face last night registered on her mind. His face who looks like a greek god, his natural blonde, long and wavy hair. His eyes were also almond brown, and damn those pink lips!. Her face immediately heated up because of what she’s been thinking.
“ Shit!... why was I admiring him?!, does this mean I have a crush on him!?.” “Oh my god Emma don’t even go there….” she said to herself, holding her face.
Emma suddenly heard a knock on the door downstairs, probably ang kaniyang nanay. She then immediately ran downstairs, when she opened the door it was her nanay. Dala-dala niya ang mga pinamili niyang mga gulay, prutas at iba pa.
“Nay! Ako na po magdadala niyan sa kusina.” Emma grab her basket on her hand and walked towards the kitchen.
Emily was so confused when she saw her daughter’s face, it was so red. So she immediately asked her.
“Nak, bakit namumula yung mga pisngi mo?.” Emma immediately covered her face and turned her back on her mother .
“Wala to nay, nag… me-make..up kasi ako kanina.”palusot ni Emma.
Emily didn’t mind her actions so she just let it pass.
“Oh my..! napansin ni nanay that I was blushing..!, shit as in shit talaga.” Bulong ni Emma sa sarili habang nag hihiwa nang sibuyas.
“Nay, mag c-cr lang ako saglit.”
“Sige.”Emily felt Something’s up with her, she thought maybe he got a crush on someone? Parang obvious eh, ganyan rin yung reaction niya sa asawa niya na si Dominic. And If it is possible, that’s her firstime! “Dalaga na talaga anak ko.” She let out a small laugh.
When Emma reached the bathroom she suddenly cupped her face “Emma! What is wrong with you?.” She patted her cheeks so she would calm down.
When she went out of the bathroom, she saw that their lunch is ready, so tinulungan niya na lang ang kaniyang nanay na maghanda nang lamesa.
“Siguro may crush kana nak?.” Biglang nabitawan ni Emma yung kutsara dahil sa sinabi ng nanay niya.
“Wa…wala po nay” she nervously said to her.
