Chapter 17

The truth...

Casper was now on his way to his final place to arrange with and it is the Mayor of Cannary island.

He was now fixing his tie while he was walking on the stairs towards the Capitol.

Casper didn’t sleep all night, he just teared up and overthinks about her because he never attend his loving girlfriends birthday so he felt bad for himself and for her. He keep on understanding his family problem but it was a big deal that he missed the party of his girl, he keeps on cursing last night because of that at inisip niya ang lagay ni Emma ngayon kung gaano ito nasaktan sa nagawa niya.

He wanted to leave now pero ang dami pang papeles na dapat tapusin niya ngayon, Casper wanted to see her so badly so he tried everything to finish para makapag-explain pa siya sa kaniya pag-uwi.

When he arrived at the Mayor’s office ay agad siyang kumatok at binuksan ito nang sekretarya.

“Mister Segovia, Don Gustavo is waiting for you in his table.” The secretary said at agad siyang pinapasok sa opisina nang Mayor.

When Casper enetered ay nakita niya si Don Gustavo na nagsisindi nang sigarilyo sa kaniyang upuan while sitting on his legs crossed.

“Segovia! Nice to see you again.” Don Gustavo greeted him in a sarcastic tone.

“Mister Mayor, sorry to bother you but I want some approval on my papers.” Casper said being nice to him.

“Sure, just sit here.” Gustavo said to him while handing the chair. He sat down and opened his briefcase to get the papers.

“So you’re the son of Caspian Segovia, I’ve never seen you for a long time now, hindi ka naman pinakilala nang inyong tatay sakin, oh wait.. he’s dead now.” Gustavo said while blowing the smoke in front of the window now.

Casper was confused of him now, he never thought na kilala niya ang kaniyang tatay.

“Ano mo po si dad?”

“Oh I’m glad you ask! Your father was working to me a long time ago, but sadly he died and I didn’t even come to his funeral.” Don Gustavo said while grinning in front of the window.

Casper was confused at the moment until he slowly jumped when Don Gustavo placed his hands on the table in a strong force that made a loud bang kaya nagulat siya.

“Hindi mo pa ako kilala Segovia, but soon you will know me more than you expected.” He said to him while looking at him in a serious way but his gaze went to Don Gustavo’s wrist.

It was a tattoo of a skull and it made him so familiar with it, it was the same tattoo of the man na pinakulong nila at lalo na sa kaniyang tatay.

His head was aching at the moment dahil sa daming iniisip just by looking on his tattoo.

Gustavo noticed that he is looking on his tattoo kaya agad niyang tinago ito.

“Just dug deep Segovia, and you will find that lost thing that has been keeping you for all of your life.” He said at agad na pinirmahan ang papel.

Casper grabbed the paper at agad na nagpasalamat sa kaniya before he leaved the building.

Casper had so many to think too at agad na dumagdag pa ang nangyari sa kaniya that led him to confusion but his mind was erased nang na realize niyang tapos na pala siya at pwede na siyang umuwi.

He immediately packed his things at agad na sumakay sa barko papunta sa lugar  nang mahal niya. He was excited to go to her and hugged her when he sees here, it’s been days since he left her kaya masaya siya ngayon na tapos na ang problema at naging maayos na ito.
