"daddy! appa!"

the little boy, chang min, rushed towards his father and sat beside them.

"what are these?"
the boy said, motioning at the papers he held in his tiny hands.

the olderof the two took the papers, and immediately broke into a smile.

he grabbed them and asked the kid to follow him into the kitchen, where his husband was cooking.

jungkook wrapped his arm around jimin's waist and breathed in his scent.

"jeon, let me go! this will all burn!"

but jimin didn't want jungkook to let go. contradicting his own words, he melted into the touch of his love.

jungkook turned jimin around and smiled brightly at him, the kind of smile which would light up anyone's entire dark world.

"see what chang min found?"

jimin's curious eyes met the letters and he almost immediately got teary eyed.

"what are these letters, appa?"

the six year old inquired again, after not getting a response from his daddy earlier.

they smiled at eachother while the little boy sat on a chair, getting tired of standing.

"you may not understand this now, baby, but these letters cured me."

"cured you?"
the oldest and the youngest both asked, looking at jungkook with wide eyes.

"daddy was in a bad place, and wrote a letter to your appa. slowly, we fell in love."

they reminisced the old times as the kid looked at them with big round eyes, processing the new information.

"love? what is that, daddy?"

"love is home, my baby. it's a warm feeling, but also, scary. it's vulnerability, happiness, security, patience, riskiness, all in one."

"that's complicated."

the kid said, as he grew more perplexed.

jimin laughed as he made his baby sit on his lap.

"you like banana milk, yeah?"

chang min nodded, and so did jungkook, which made the oldest laugh at his antics.

"why do you like it?"

the kid couldn't answer. even after a while of thinking, no avail.

"exactly, baby. love can't be defined. you can't put it into words. its a feeling, an emotion. just the way you can't describe why you like banana milk, the same way we can't describe the big emotion that is love."

the boy nodded, understanding.

"it's not said, baby. it's felt."

"i love you appa. i love you daddy."

jimin smiled and jungkook shed a tear, seeing his family happy.

the three of them cuddled together, jungkook's big arms enough to hold jimin and chang min's small bodies.

"i love you, jungkook."

"if your love for me was a star, my love for you are all the galaxies combined."

the end.
