Chapter - 9

So the three of them decided to take stroll in the village.

This time Philip took me to bath and in the middle Mateo joined (what a sly fellow).

Then they dressed me up

"Aww~, Mateo look Kayne looks handsome "

How can a one month
baby looks be handsome.

"You're right honey"

Don't support with him father.

Philip carried me down
to the village , then both of
them showed off , it seems the villagers mocked them for
can't be near a baby before.
(but still they can't go near
a child or they start to cry).

Since that day , they have been taking care of me nicely and I'm more comfortable~ around them.

Then I learnt that Philip is a mage and Mateo is swordsman , they worked together at capital before and they were retired now both of them are normal adventurers.

Philip uses magic to make smile, and Mateo shows off his swords skills in front off me.

Just like that 4 months have passed.

After many hardships, I'm finally able to support my head , without any help,Mateo and Philip were so happy when ever I do something new.

Now I'm 7 months old , I'm able to roll over and crawl ,both fathers put me on bed and made me crawl over to them.
(Being a child is really difficult).

Philip wanted me get along with the childrens in the village , but just like my fathers whenever they saw me , they get scared and began to cry .
Shortly after that people began to think me strange (since I don't cry always like other children).

But whenever I see my fathers face with smile , I don't care about anything at all.
(After that week, Philip never took me near the village).

(Summer,autumn,winter had passed just like that)
Finally it's been a year since I reborn,
My fathers decided ,the day Mateo found me will be my birthday.

Philip said there is still 10 days for my birthday,
I can walk now properly , we take strolls in evening .
Sometimes Mateo goes for work , and returns in two,three days but feel lonely if one of them is not here.

So , Philip always hugs and kisses me a lot when Mateo is not here.

Last time when Mateo came from work he acted strangely.

Flashback---

"Philip!".
"I just geared something"

why is he so
nervous
while taking.

"What happened dear
talk slowly"

"I heard "

You heard?     "You heard?"

"I heard that babies call for
thier parents for first time
when they are going to be
a year old "

*Both of them are talking
in their eyes

Why do I have a strange

feeling about it.

Ever since that they have
been calling themselve
as father in front of me.
(I like it when my
fathers act childish.)

But I will save it as a suprise
for my birthday.
(I ignore them whenever
they make me call them father).

"Kayne~ father is home"
