He popped his head back into the room to ask where the girls were from the escort service. Gemma told Luann she'd be right back before taking Chibs down to see the desk clerk of the escort service. She seemed to be in much better shape than Luann or Teegan which he was thankful for. He stood at the foot of the bed while Gemma walked back down to sit with Luann.
"Aye lassie. Wha' can ye tell me about tha bombin'?" Chibs asked.
"A guy came in asking to use the restroom. It was unusual but he seemed so normal so I showed him where it was. He was in there a few minutes then came out. He thanked me for letting him use the restroom then left." She told him, "A few minutes later there was this huge explosion and people went flying everywhere."
"Wha' can ye tell me about tha guy? Or wha' 'e arrived in." Chibs inquired.
"He was tall. Maybe six foot, slim build. Jeans, sneakers, plain black t-shirt. His arms were covered in tattoos down to his wrists." She thought, "Blond hair, blue eyes. Tear drop tattoo by his right eye. He arrived in a white four-door Nissan Altima. I know because my sister has the same type of car."
"Anythin' else ye can remember, lass?" Chibs asked.
"Oh! Someone drove him. There was someone in the driver's seat as he came in to use the restroom." She explained.
"Thank ye, love. Get t' feelin' better." Chibs stated before leaving her room and walking down the hall.
There was something definitely wrong here. Coordinated strike against their businesses or friends' businesses and all seemed to have the same story. What was going on? If it were the Irish, they'd just straight out try to kill their friends or family. Not bomb buildings to send some type of message. He looked in at Teegan and Tig. He was holding her hand and talking to her. Chibs sighed before leaving the hospital to head back to the clubhouse.
Happy was back already and talking with Clay when he arrived. Seeing Chibs come back, Clay waved him over. The medic told Clay everything he'd learned. The more they found out, the more confusing things became. It wasn't like any of their associates to behave this way. 'It has to be someone we don't know very well or aren't usually associated with!' Clay thought as he pulled out a cigar and lit it. He thanked Chibs for the new information before walking back into the clubhouse.
There came a knock at Teegan's door making Tig look up. He growled seeing the kid who'd come from another MC just to get a tattoo from his lady. He immediately shot up and pushed the kid against the wall making the kid's eyes widened.
"What the hell are you doing here?" Tig growled.
"Look, I just heard about the bombing. I came to see how she was." He stated, "That's all, I swear!"
"Where's your kutte? Why did you come here?" Tig grilled him.
"I remember what happened last time I came here with my kutte on. I left it in my saddle bag to not cause any more problems." He explained, "I came because I respect her as a tattoo artist. She was really nice to me unlike most of the people I deal with every day."
"Who are you?" Tig asked.
"I'm just a peon in an MC in Modesto. I swear, I just came to see how she was doing." The kid stated.
"I should shoot you for coming here." Tig told him.
"I'm no threat to you, honest. She was nice to me and is one of the best tattoo artists I've come across in a really long time. I just wanted to see if she was ok and tell her how sorry I was for what happened." The kid began to shake slightly as the door opened up.
"The hell is going on here?" Jax asked.
"This is the same kid who came from another MC to get a tattoo from Teegan that day. Says he just came by to see how she was because he heard about the bombing." Tig explained.
"How in the hell did he hear about it?" Jax asked.
"Good question." Tig stated before turning his attention back to the kid, "How did you hear about it?"
The kid darted his eyes downward and refused to talk.
"Listen to me you little piece of shit. That's my 'ol lady in that bed in a fucking coma because of this bombing. She's in critical condition right now. If you know something, you better tell me. I'm in no mood to fuck around with people today." Tig growled.
"I...I might know who did the bombings." The kid sighed, "But I swear I had absolutely nothing to do with them!"
"What's your name?" Jax asked.
"Jake."
"Jake, listen to me. If you know something, you better tell us. Everything." Jax calmly told him making Jake sigh.
"Well...I went back after my tattoo. Seeing me all busted up, my club members wanted to know what happened. I finally told them making them angry." Jake explained, "I told them it was my fault for going into someone else's territory but my friend who'd gotten a tat there said she did amazing work. And was uber hot. I had to go check her out. (He swallowed seeing the look Tig gave him after his last statement) For her tats.
Then they decided that you guys needed to be taught a lesson about messing with other people. I tried to tell them it was dumb. It was my fault for coming onto your turf to begin with but they don't listen to me. I'm just some peon in the club, my word means nothing. We're just a small club, about thirty or so members, and I've tried telling them messing with a bigger club was stupid."
"Ok, ok. Calm down, kid." Jax stated, "Are there any other bombs?"
"No. All they could find out was about the escort and porn studio." Jake told them.
"Why'd they bomb her tat shop?" Tig asked.
"Because that's where all the problems started." Jake's voice quivered.
"We need to take him to the clubhouse. He needs to tell Clay all he knows." Jax stated.
"NO! I...I can't...I don't know what they'll do to me for ratting them out." Jake's eyes widened.
"Jake...no one messes with our family without us dealing with it. They've crossed SAMCRO. They need to pay the price." Jax explained, "Now follow us to our clubhouse."
Tig didn't want to go but knew he'd probably be needed. He let the kid go before walking over and kissing Teegan's forehead. The trio left the hospital and climbed onto their respective bikes. Jake followed the blond biker with Tig following him to make sure he went to the clubhouse. Jake was nervous remembering the ass beating he received just for going to the tattoo shop last time he was in town. Only three of them were there that time. Now he was going to their clubhouse.
Tig and Jax parked in their spaces and the kid parked across from them. Clay, Happy, Bobby, and Chibs walked out of the clubhouse. Jax explained who the kid was making Happy growl. The blond biker urged the kid to tell them what all he'd told him and Tig at the hospital. They all watched as he looked down and explained everything from when he left the tattoo shop after getting inked to how they had coordinated the bombings.
He apologized for everything and kept repeating how he'd tried to convince them doing it was a stupid idea but he was always blown off. Chibs could see how nervous the kid was as he shifted from foot to foot. He would hardly look anyone in the eye as he spoke. Clay stood there listening to the kid's story and sighed. "Well, we know who did it, why, and how they'd pulled it off." Bobby commented earning a head nod from several others.
"Why aren't you wearing your kutte, kid?" Clay inquired.
"I remember what happened last time I came here with it on. I just wanted to see the tattoo artist. She was so nice to me unlike most people. I wanted to see how she was doing and not cause any more trouble." Jake replied.
"You were dumb for coming back to Charming." Clay stated, "But thanks for giving us all the information we need."
A/N: It seems the Sons have discovered who had bombed them after all. What kind of retaliation is in store for Jake's MC?
