"Nice to meet you, man." Drew shook his hand too.
"They're staying at the house with us until they live in a few days." She explained.
"As long as you're happy." Tig chuckled nervously, "Are you going to introduce them to everyone else?"
"This is your club, babe." She smirked.
He turned around to see everyone had gathered at one car trying to look like they weren't watching what was going on. He sighed and whistled. Getting their attention, he waved everyone over.
"The long-haired blond is Jax and he's our Vice President. The scraggly looking one with a beanie is Opie. The one with the scars is Chibs. (Chibs quickly told them Filip earning a head nod from Troy) The one with the mohawk is Juice our Intelligence Officer." Tig looked around, "The white-haired gentleman in the clubhouse is Clay our President. The scraggly looking one sitting next to him is Bobby our Financial Officer. This is Troy, Teegan's dad and Drew her older brother"
A round of "Hi's", "Nice to meet you's", and "Hey's" were all heard. Clay sat on the stool and watched as Tig was reduced to a nervous teenage boy meeting his girlfriend's family for the first time and couldn't help but smirk.
"Nice to meet you boys too." Troy smiled.
The group got to chatting with Teegan and her father so Drew took the opportunity to ask Tig if they could talk in private. The SAA looked over to his girlfriend who just winked at him before going back to her conversation. Tig showed Drew into their clubhouse figuring the man didn't want his sister to see what might be about to go down. Drew grabbed him by his kutte and shoved him against the wall.
"Listen here. I don't give a rat's ass about this biker gang you're in. My sister has gotten hurt because of being associated with you which pisses me off. If she's got no problems with it, then I'll leave that be. For now.
She can take care of herself and has done so for a really long time. She doesn't need anyone to come save her like some damsel in distress. Just because she can take care of herself, doesn't mean I won't come back and help her bury your body if you mistreat her in any way.
She's my baby sister and I love her dearly. Hardheaded, self-assured, a little cocky at times, headstrong, but very loyal to those she holds close to her. Fuck this up and you won't just be dealing with my sister. My dad is a retired marine. I'm making a career out of the marines just like our old man. Remember that." Drew calmly told Tig as he stared into the blue-eyed bikers eyes.
"Look, I care deeply for Teegan. It enrages me thinking about her getting hurt. She's my world besides my club. I nearly went and did something I might or might not regret if some of my brothers hadn't stopped me when I was told of the bombing." Tig retorted.
"Make sure you treat her right. That's all I care about." Drew finally let Tig go.
"Should we intervene?" Bobby asked as he and Clay watched the younger man talking with the SAA.
"Nah. Tig can handle himself." Clay stated as the pair finally left the clubhouse and rejoined everyone else.
"You'd get along with Clay. He was in the marines too." Jax told Troy who peaked around people to see the other white-haired man watching them.
"Once a marine, always a marine." Troy laughed.
The group stood around chatting a while longer before Teegan began to get tired. The group bid Troy and Drew goodbye before the foursome walked back to Teegan's truck. Tig helped her into the passenger side while her brother and dad climbed in.
"I'll see you when I get off work. Try to get some rest, ok?" He told her making her smile.
"Will do. Try not to let Juice annoy you too much." She chuckled before he leaned down and gave her a kiss.
Troy drove them, with her navigating them, back to her house. It was nearly lunch time so she opted to just order them a pizza when they got home. Drew helped her into the house after she unlocked the door. Spike was growling until she told him to settle down. Drew wanted to play with the dog so she told him to open the back door and let Spike out into the yard. Troy found a seat in the recliner while she got herself situated on the couch to make her phone call to order their lunch.
"Hey Tigger? How'd that meeting go with Teegan's brother?" Juice teased.
"He threatened to help her bury my body if I mistreated her." He shrugged, "And I'm quite certain he was serious."
"Well I'm sure she'd kill you if you did mistreat her. That woman doesn't take anyone's shit." Jax laughed as Quinn and Happy returned from some club business.
"Yeah, I know." Tig ran his hand over his face.
"You weren't expecting them to come by?" Bobby asked as the group stood around the clubhouse.
"She neglected to say anything to me about them coming for a visit." Tig told them as the prospect poured him a shot of Tequila.
"She might not've known." Juice stated.
"Don't matter either way. I'm stuck with them at the house for a few days at least." Tig sighed not knowing how to act around her family, "Fuck. I need a drink."
After their lunch had arrived and Troy had gone to fetch Drew so they could eat, her brother began grilling her about her and Tig. She rolled her eyes and gave the vaguest answers she could. Drew kept pressuring her into more detailed answers which she refused to give. The last thing she wanted was for her family to despise her boyfriend over things to do with his club. She wanted them to get along.
'Fuck do I need a drink!' she sighed as her brother finally began teasing her about Tig. She sat there trying to figure out what to do for dinner since they had guests. It would be too hard for her to try and cook with her still on crutches. Tig couldn't really cook. Perhaps they could go out tonight? Yeah, that might work. Spike was laying by the couch under her feet as she had her feet propped up on the coffee table. Her brother sat at the other end of the couch and her dad was still in the recliner while they all half-assed watched TV but mostly caught up on life.
The sound of Tig's bike coming down the road took her aback not realizing how late it had gotten. She watched the door and smiled when he came through with his kutte on. He leaned down to give her a quick kiss before telling the small group he was gonna go clean up real quick. "He always go shower right after he gets home?" her brother asked making her laugh. She told him yes because he didn't want to get everything greasy.
Once Tig was freshly showered and in clean clothes, he made his way back out into the living room. She suggested they take her dad and brother to the diner for dinner earning a nod from the SAA. When they were ready to leave a little while later, Tig helped her get into the passenger's side before walking around and climbing into the driver's seat. Troy asked how his day had gone so they discussed the auto shop for a while.
