Two weeks and things were getting even more hectic at the tattoo shop. Teegan was hardly able to get one client out of her seat before another one was in it. Tig kept pressuring her to put a help wanted sign up. Nick was a huge help and she was very grateful for that. She finally decided she did, in fact, need another artist at the shop. She put a sign in her window stating: "Tattoo Artist Wanted: Interviews Thursdays".

The first Thursday, she kept her sign to 'Closed' but the door unlocked. She was nervous at the type of people that might walk in looking for a job. Teegan had high standards and wasn't going to hire anyone who didn't have the work ethic and skill she did. Tig was happy to see she was finally taking his advice when he rode through town and noticed the sign in her window. He made his way back to the clubhouse and parked his bike.

Several people had come in for interviews but she didn't like any of them. Some it was a personality issue, others didn't even have a portfolio to show her their work, others she just didn't think their work was good enough. She was polite to everyone and let them all know she'd call for a second interview if she was interested. Nick watched as she leaned back on the couch and sighed. 'Who knew looking for a tattoo artist would be such a grueling task? Why can't people come in with portfolios for me to check out their work? Why can't these people be good?' she sighed.

Tig asked how the interviews were going making her sigh and roll her eyes. "Some people didn't even come with portfolios for me to check out their previous work. Do they really think I'm going to hire them without seeing what they can do? Others just weren't as good as I think they should be." she sighed again making him pull her into his arms. He just held her to him trying to help ease her stress. He hated seeing her like this but hoped once she got another artist to help out at the shop, that would ease some of the strain on her.

It took another few weeks before she finally found an artist she thought was good enough. He brought in a portfolio, references from his previous employers, and his own book of tattoos to show off. Teegan was impressed with his work as she flipped through his tattoo book. He clearly had a passion for what he did, was really good at it, and wanted the job enough to bring more than what she was expecting a candidate to bring.

She smiled at him before stating she needed him to fill out some paperwork so she could officially hire him. He grinned back and said it was no problem. After explaining the hours, how much she paid, and for him to bring in a jar for tips (which he kept all of his tips), she handed him the official paperwork for him to fill out. She'd need some of his information to put into her payroll software so she could keep his payroll straight. He thanked her for the opportunity to work since he'd recently moved to Charming from San Diego.

Smiling again, she told him she understood since she'd moved to California from Texas for a fresh start and had to reopen her business there in Cali. It had been hard work getting it up and running again but things were getting so hectic at the shop she needed another artist and a receptionist. He liked that work would be busy. He didn't want to be paid for just sitting around. After handing back the paperwork, she showed him where everything was including the stock room where she kept all the body jewelry and extras for tattooing.

Since she had officially hired another artist, she took the help wanted sign out of her window and turned the 'Open' sign on so they could get back to business. Her new employee, David, although young was quite the artist and she hoped he would be an asset to her shop. Her reputation was on the line, after all! It didn't take long for people to start coming in and Teegan smiled at all of them. It was nice to have more than one artist on hand to work on customers so they didn't have to sit around and wait on her. Especially when some tattoos took hours to do!

She never said anything to Tig about hiring a new artist but he could tell she was much less stressed than she had been. He hoped she found a decent artist to help her that she got along with. Not in the mood to cook, she ordered from their favorite Chinese place then went to take herself a quick shower. Their food was arriving just as he was getting home. She was getting plates, silverware, and refilling her glass of tea when he walked in.
