Two weeks later and Teegan was like a kid in a candy store. The insurance check had cleared, she was well enough to start working on her shop again, and things were looking brighter than ever. She headed to the local hardware store to get the paint she needed as well as all the painting supplies. That was the first thing on the agenda for the day. The next thing was ordering all new workstations, new furniture since hers had been blown up, and the jewelry case as well as various body jewelry to sell.

Tig had promised to have the prospects come over and take out the old furniture that she didn't need anymore and take it to the local dump for her. She kissed his cheek and thanked him before they went their separate ways for the day. She sat down with her phone and browsed the same furniture store that she bought the furniture for the shop before and found the same set. She quickly bought it and scheduled delivery times. Then she had to purchase new workstations which took a little longer to acquire since she was very particular.

Next was a case showing all the different body jewelry she had for sale followed by actually purchasing cases of various body jewelry. Lip rings, nose rings, nose studs, brow rings, brow bars, nose bars, belly rings, nipple rings, nipple bars, earrings, ear bars. She refused to sell genital piercings. Things were going well. She was able to acquire everything she needed and still had funds left over. With everything purchased and delivery times scheduled, she got to working on preparing the room to be painted.

Tig stopped by with lunch and to check on how she was doing. One wall was half-way done being painted red when he arrived. Hearing the overhead bell, she turned to see who'd walked in. The 'closed' sign was on so she was sure it wasn't a customer. Seeing Tig made her smile. He held up a large brown paper bag and two soda cups. "I thought you'd like to take a break and have lunch." he told her with a smile. She cleaned off her paint brush then walked into her destroyed bathroom to wash her hands. She had someone coming to remodel her bathroom as well.

They sat together eating and talking about how things were going. She told him she had everything just about ordered for the shop and was just working on repainting the walls in preparation for the new furniture and workstations to arrive. He made a call as they sat there then looked over at her and smiled. "I've got some of the prospects coming over to help you paint. Should make things go a lot faster." he told her making her shake her head. It was appreciated but she didn't want to depend on the club for every little thing she told him.

"I'll be working here, too, to help you paint." He draped his arm around her shoulder, "There's nothing going on with the club so we're not really busy. Not many cars to be worked on at the moment. Don't worry about it."

"But this is my shop. I don't want to depend on you guys..." She started out.

"Listen here, hardhead, you're my 'ol lady and you need help. It's my pleasure to do this. Besides, it needs to be finished painting soon before the delivery guys get here, right?" He stated.

"Well, yeah." She sighed looking around and realizing he was right.

"Then just accept the help. We'll have this place finished being painted by this evening. If it needs a second coat, we'll make sure it gets it. Things will be finished by the time the delivery guys arrive." He gave her a sideways squeeze.

"Thanks, babe. For everything." She stated as the sounds of a few motorcycles could be heard.

"Must be the prospects." Tig stated.

Chibs, Bobby, Jax, and Quinn walked in with two prospects.

"We're here to help paint." Jax stated.

"I just asked for prospects, Jax." Tig stated.

"Yeah but there's nothing going on at the clubhouse and everything else is quiet. We thought we'd come by and help Teegan since we could." The blond smiled.

"It's greatly appreciated guys. The walls will be red and the trim will be gold." Teegan explained.

"Right den. Let's get t' work!" Chibs smiled as each man slid his kutte off and laid them on the busted up couch.

With eight of them painting, the work got done much faster than if she'd been doing it alone. They even got a second coat painted by the end of the day. She was so happy she offered to cook for everyone who had come out to help. Jax told the prospects to head back to the clubhouse making both pout at not getting a nice home-cooked meal. The blond biker was more than happy to take her up on her offer of a free meal.

Teegan was anxious. Most of her items were being delivered. The furniture had already been delivered and set where she wanted it. Now she was waiting on her display case and her workstations. The body jewelry she'd ordered would be there the following day. She'd stopped by the local arts and crafts store to pick up frames for the posters she had. While she waited on the delivery guys, she got to work reframing her posters and getting them hung back up on the walls. She moved a few of them around to make things a bit more cohesive to her.

After hanging up her posters, she sat down with her phone and ordered herself some shelving so she could store extra jewelry hoping that she would get some good sales out of that as well. Besides, it would help keep her tattooing extras organized in the back room. The overhead bell rang making her look up. There was a man there with a clipboard. She smiled when she realized it was the delivery guy with the display case. She signed where she needed to before he and his partner got to bringing in and setting up her case.

She thanked both knowing it was hard work what they did and she wanted them to know their hard work was appreciated. They smiled at her as she bid them a good day. She set her register back on top on the far left and plugged it in. Her tattoo books were sitting back on the coffee table for people to look at. All that remained were her workstations. Then she could officially reopen her shop.

Jax was helping Luann get Cara Cara set back up the way she wanted it. She had lost most of her props and cameras but the insurance check covered nearly everything. She had several rooms to redecorate and get cameras set up for filming. Bobby had no problems in helping since he loved hanging out at the porn studio. Tig didn't mind it either although he was sure Teegan would have a few words about where he'd spent his day "working".

Happy, Chibs, and Quinn had been at the escort service helping get it set back up so they could reopen soon. It was mostly getting the lobby looking good and then some of the back rooms. Sarah, the receptionist at the escort service, instructed the bikers where everything should go. She wanted things as close to the way things had looked before. Painters had been hired to come in and paint the walls before the bikers had ever got there.
