Troy and Drew had finally left easing Tig's anxiety. Teegan continuously told him how much they liked him and that her dad approved of their relationship. It still didn't ease his tension or anxiety any. Several of his brothers made fun of him for it but he didn't care. Teegan's family seemed to like him and that's all that really mattered.
"The prospects are cleaning up your shop while you wait on the insurance check." Tig told her as they were eating dinner.
"Awesome. That was something I wasn't looking forward to doing. Tell them thanks for me." She smiled.
"Anything for you, Doll." He smiled back.

Six weeks at home and Teegan was going stir-crazy. She wanted to get off the crutches, out of the cast, and on to working on her tat shop again. Gemma had taken her to her six week check up to see how she was doing. Her knee bounced up and down as she waited to have x-rays done to make sure her leg had healed properly. She wanted the all-clear to get back to her life. It was great having Tig to help her but sometimes he drove her crazy too!
Once the x-ray was taken and they sat around the waiting room for what felt like forever, she was called back to see her doctor. Things had healed up nicely, according to him, and he saw no reason to not give her a clear bill of health. She sighed with relief and thanked him. They took the cast off her leg and she wanted to jump for joy. Seeing Teegan walking on her own with no cast eased Gemma's mind. Her skin was still peeling from the burn but she was otherwise in good condition.
"Now I can get on to redoing the tat shop." Teegan sighed as they headed back to Teller-Morrow. Cara Cara and the escort service were all waiting on insurance checks so they could rebuild their businesses as well. Teegan jumped out of the car when she saw Tig sitting on the picnic table out by the clubhouse and ran straight for him. Seeing her, he stood up just in time for her to jump into his arms making Chibs and Juice laugh.
"I see the doctor's appointment went well." Tig laughed as she wrapped her legs around his waist and locked her ankles.
"Clean bill of health! I can start working on my shop again! Once the check comes and clears." She sighed contentedly.
"Glad to hear it, Doll." Tig stated as she unhooked her legs to stand on her own.
"Goo' t' 'ear ya all betta!" Chibs smiled at her.
"Thanks! I just hope this damned check comes soon. I'm going stir-crazy around the house." She laughed.
"You could always come hang out here." Tig sat back down then pulled her into his lap.
"And why would I want to do that?" She raised her eyebrow.
"To see me!" Tig wiggled his eyebrows.
"I see you enough at home." She countered making the other two laugh.
"Sit down and plan out how you're going to redo your shop?" Tig offered.
"Already done that. Got the sketches of what I want it to look like all finished too." She pouted.
"Find a soap opera you like and get invested in it?" Tig finally offered.
"Fuck that, I'd rather have a root canal." She stuck her tongue out at him making Chibs laugh again.
"Ya too funny, lass." Chibs chuckled.
"How are you getting home?" Tig suddenly questioned.
"Don't know. Gemma picked me up for my appointment and drove straight here afterwards." Teegan shrugged.
"Guess that means you're riding home with me." Tig told her.
The guys eventually got back to work while she sat at the picnic table and watched. Gemma remained in her office doing paperwork and answering phones. Clay and Jax were off on some club business. Teegan sat there bored as she watched the remaining bikers working on cars. Juice left to pick up a repo two hours after she'd arrived. She sighed hoping the end of the workday would come soon.
Around five pm, everyone began wiping their hands on grease rags and heading to the office to clock out for the day. She was more than excited to be going home. At least she had tv and movies to occupy her time. And her sketch book. She got up and headed to Tig's bike and waited for him to climb on before climbing on after him. She wrapped her arms around his waist and leaned against him as he got the bike going.
When they arrived home, he went to go take himself a hot shower while she ordered from their favorite Chinese place. Despite not being on crutches anymore, she had been so bored at the shop she just didn't feel like doing anything but vegging out with some TV before bed. He walked to the living room in his pj bottoms and no shirt making her smile. With her cast off, she finally felt well enough for sex.

She was ecstatic when her insurance check came in. She rushed to the bank so she could deposit it. The quicker it went through, the quicker she could get on rebuilding her shop. Teegan had gone to the shop to see what all the prospects had done. They had done as thorough cleaning as they could, sweeping away all the shattered glass for her, and even scrubbing down the walls. The place would need to be repainted. This time she thought she'd paint the walls red with gold trim.
Her posters would need new frames and her workstations needed to be trashed and bought anew. Her cash register seemed to be fine and working properly. As she walked about her destroyed shop, she made notes on her phone about what all needed to be bought again, what she wanted to change even though she'd already sketched things out at home, and new ideas for the shop. She wanted to sell body jewelry as well so she'd need a case for that which could be doubled as her counter with her register on it.
Tig was just happy her check had finally come in so she could do something constructive instead of going crazy at home. She was starting to get on his nerves but he was smart enough not to tell her that. He tried to be as nice to her about things as he could knowing it wasn't really her fault. She liked to work, loved what she did for a living, and was just itching to get back to it. Juice just laughed at Tig as he expressed his desire for the insurance check to go through quickly to give Teegan something to do with her time.
"One of the downsides to having an 'ol lady!" The IO stated making Bobby laugh too. Tig flipped them both off then went to get back to working on the car he started on that morning. Despite her driving him crazy, Tig honestly wouldn't trade having her for the world. He'd come to care deeply about the woman and loved her sassiness. She didn't take anyone's shit and wasn't one to be bullied. He loved her if he wanted to get out of his head and listen to his heart. The last woman he loved had burned him badly by taking off with his children and leaving him alone. He didn't want that to happen again.
