Teegan was excited. She was getting to go home. Tig left his bike at the house and picked up her truck. He was bringing her some clothes to change into since the clothes she was wearing were all singed and dirty. He had to help her change clothes, which he wasn't against, since she was still unsteady on her crutches. Tara was giving her some advice on walking with crutches as well as a prescription for a burn ointment she was to put on her burns twice a day.
Tig promised he'd make sure she got the ointment on her making Teegan roll her eyes before they left the hospital. She had to be wheeled downstairs making her huff at the whole thing but Tig just laughed. Her fiery, independent attitude is one of the things he loved about her. Even if it did infuriate the club sometimes. She was thankful her truck had survived the blast as he helped her into the passenger side.
The ride was quiet as they drove home. She was thankful that she hadn't been taking Spike to the shop with her the last few days prior to the bombing. There had been a suspicious character hanging around the neighborhood and she had felt it was better for him to stay home and protect the house. Tig pulled into the driveway and she sighed. There were a bunch of bikes there as well as Gemma's car.
"Sorry, Doll. I had no say in this either. When Gemma wants to do something, she does it." He chuckled as he helped Teegan out of the truck.
He helped her hobble to the door before opening it up. Gemma left the kitchen to pull her into a hug. "Welcome home, baby! Lunch will be served here shortly. Sit down and relax." the Queen told her making her chuckle slightly. Ratboy immediately moved to give her a space on the couch to sit down. She noted Jax, Bobby, Chibs, Quinn, the un-Happy one, and Ratboy were all sitting in her house.
"Where's Spike?" She asked.
"We let him in the backyard. He was running around very anxious. Thought it would do him good to go out back and try to run off his energy." Happy told her.
"I'll go let him in." Tig smiled.
A minute or so later she could hear her dog running through the house. Seeing him, she opened her arms and he jumped half-way into her lap making her laugh.
"There's momma's boy!" She cooed as she hugged the dog, "I hope Tig has been taking good care of you while I've been away."
"Happy's been over here every day looking after him since Tig refused to even come home." Jax informed her making her raise her eyebrow at the killer.
"Thanks. I'm surprised that idiot didn't bother to at least come home to feed Spike." She motioned towards Tig who was then talking to Gemma by the kitchen.
Happy just shrugged as he watched her loving on the dog and trying not to smile. A little while later and Gemma was calling everyone to lunch. Tig quickly moved to help Teegan to the table. She was still unsteady on her crutches and it irritated her having to depend on things, or people, to get around. Before everyone could dig in, Gemma made a little speech welcoming Teegan home and wishing a speedy recovery from all her injuries.

When Teegan called her dad, since it had been several days and she knew he was probably freaking out, she didn't expect to have to give all the details about why she hadn't called. He didn't believe her when she said she'd gotten busy with the shop so she had no choice but to break down and explain about the bombing and how it was connected to her boyfriend's motorcycle club. He wasn't thrilled about her dating an outlaw biker but she reassured him Tig treated her like a queen.
Her dad told her he was going to call her brother and they were going to come for a visit. She reassured him she was fine even though she was still getting used to the crutches. Her leg was going to heal fine as long as she kept the pressure off of it while she walked by using the crutches she'd been given. He was still insistent on coming out. "Besides, I want to meet this man who's captured my little girl's heart." her father told her making her roll her eyes.
An hour later and her father texter her saying they were flying out the next day and would be there in the late morning. She groaned and kept the news from Tig. He'd be working at the garage all day and she didn't want him over thinking things. Even if this was going to be one hell of a way to meet her dad and brother. Although she knew once the normal "you hurt my daughter/sister" threats were over and they sat down and got to know Tig a little, she was sure they would all get along very well.
Every day, once in the morning before he left for work and once in the evening after dinner, he applied the burn ointment to all of Teegan's burns. It stung but he was always as gentle with her as he could be. She was assured there would be no scarring from the burns and that things would start to peel as she healed from that. Most of the time they ordered take-out since Tig wasn't much of a cook. Other than putting in frozen meals in the oven to bake.
Teegan wasn't entirely sure when her dad and brother were getting in. Her mother had stayed back because she was still working in a nursing home as a nurse. She loved her job and decided not to retire when she came of age. Her dad hadn't forced her to retire even though he wanted to travel with his wife. She was nervous as she watched the clock waiting for her family to arrive in her new home.
Around ten thirty, there finally came a knock at the door. Spike began barking but she shushed him making him lay down by the couch. She hobbled to the door, cursing her crutches as she did, and opened the door. Her dad and brother stood there with huge smiles. She hobbled around to let them enter her rental home. "Nice place, sis." her brother stated making her laugh. She let them look around and then put their bags down in the two guest rooms before her dad insisted on going to see his daughter's young man.
"He's older than me so don't be weirded out." She stated as she hobbled out the door.
Her brother helped her into her truck while her dad slid into the driver's seat. Once everyone had climbed in, he backed out and let her guide him to the auto mechanic shop where Tig worked. Jax was the first to see Teegan's truck pull in. "I told that woman if she needed to go somewhere to fucking call me!" Tig threw his wrench on the ground making several of his brothers laugh. Until a white-haired man exited the driver's seat.
"Who the hell is driving Teegan's truck?" Juice asked.
Another man was helping Teegan hobble to the picnic tables by the clubhouse so Tig wiped his hands and walked over. She sat down and looked over to where her boyfriend was walking looking very confused.
"I thought I told you if you needed to go somewhere to call me and I'd come home! What are you doing here?" Tig demanded making her laugh.
"There's two people I want you to meet. This is my dad Troy (she pointed to the white-haired man) and this is my older brother Andrew although everyone just calls him Drew (she nodded to the younger man on her right side)" She introduced the pair, "Dad, Drew, this is my boyfriend Tig."
Tig held his hand out to the older man, "Alex, actually. It's nice to finally meet some of Teegan's family."
"It's nice to finally meet the young man who seems to have taken a liking to my daughter." Troy stated as he firmly shook Tig's hand.
A/N: How do you think the rest of this meeting is going to go? ;) :P
