Piper and Finn one shots A-Z

Set in season 7 episode 23

Piper sat in one of the seats in the audience area in the Dance Mania building. She's so mad at Finn right now because he almost ruined her dance career. But should I be mad? Piper questioned in her head. Her thought got cut of by the door opening revealing the person she does not want to see right now. She stands up to leave because she can barley be in the same room as him, as Piper started to walk out of the room her boyfriend? bestfriend? friend? not friend at all? she doesn't know what to think of him. "Pipes just wait and let me explain please!" Finn already knows why Piper's walking away from him. She turns around to see him, "Don't call me that!" "What?" Finn is super confused, yeah he messed up bad but is that a reason for him not to be able to her by her nickname. "I said don't call me that!" Piper repeats her self but rises her voice. "Look Piper I know I messed up, it wasn't even my fault that I turned my phone on silent!" "Oh really Finn because if it wasn't your fault you would of been on time!" By now she's shouting, she doesn't want to fight with him, especially since he's competing in the residamson round with Kingston later that night. Their both on the verge of tears, they hate fighting and this is their first fight since they got together. Piper turns away to walk out because she doesn't want Finn to see her cry, "Piper!" He calls for her. She wants to see him, she wants to be in his arms, kiss him with no one getting hurt, she wants to wipe the tears that's coming out of his eyes as she turns around and he wants to wipe hers. Both of their hearts break seeing the pain the other is in because of them selves, "Finn -" "Pipes." He cuts her off, surprisingly, she doesn't shout at him for using, 'his' nickname for her. "You have to believe me when I say I didn't want t, ruin your dance career or any of that!" Finn cries, "I know that Finn but you still almost ruined everything..." Piper starts to cry even more and all Finn wants to do is comfort the beautiful brunet with tears that is standing right in front of him. "I love you!" Finn suddenly blurts out. It was all he could think about. "I love you too but just saying that wont make me forgive you like that." "I know that, I -" And before she knows what she's saying, she regrets everything, "We're over!" Finn was about to protest but she had already ran out the door. What have I done? They both think at the same time. 

* Inside of, Lily, Amy and Piper's hotel room*

Lily's brother let her bring his game board so she was playing that with Amy. Suddenly, the door swung open. Amy and Lily gave Piper the room key earlier since they were staying in. Once Piper was inside, she shuts  the hotel room door tight with a slam, and then slowly lowered her self to the ground. "Piper, what's wrong?" Amy asked going over to comfort her best friend by the door. "F - Finn." Piper tries to get out, but she's crying too much. Amy doesn't say another word, she pulls her best friend into a tight hug, Piper wraps her arms around Amy's waist and berry's her head into her chest. Piper's best friend is now really concerned. She tries to calm the crying brunet but it's not working, "Piper do you want me to get Finn? He calms you do -" "NO!" Piper shouts. "But -" "Just stop!" Piper escapes her best friend's embrace and flops onto her bed and turns so she on her side facing away from Lily and Amy. The two other girls share worry glances. 

In the boys' room, Kingston wanted to practice a little bit before the actual competition, but when he tries to get Finn of the bed, he doesn't get a response. "Finn come on! You arrived late so we have to practice!" Kingston spoke. "I'm not in the mood so just leave me alone." Finn finally said. Finn was sitting on his bed, looking no where else apart from the tv where Heath and Ozzy are playing Legions of Lasers, of course. The curly haired boy couldn't stop thinking about his ex, and that's when he turns to Kingston and snaps. "You what, it's actually your fault I missed my flight!" "Dude! Don't start blaming this on other people that's ridiculous!" Henry chimes in. "Is it though? Because of what I can remember, he was the one who told me to turn my phone on silent, he was the on who started everyone attacking me earl -" "Woah we wasn't attacking you!" Ozzy spoke from the sofa. "Yes you were, not you Ozzy, or Pipes but everyone else!" Everyone else in the room thought for a minute. Finn suddenly got up from the bed, "And the worse part is." Finn says turning around when he's nd only just touch the handle, "Pipes and I had a massive fight and she broke up with me!" Finn finishes before swinging the door open and going out for some fresh air. 

That's it, the team's broken.... 

An hour or so later The Next Step found them self waiting in the small area with the other teams seeing if they got saved or not. "And the team with the most votes is..." The announcer starts, "THE NEXT STEP!!" The team ran onto the stage. Kingston had no hope if him and Finn could save the team, but, they had to try. "With the team picked to compete in the reserection round, we're going to have Hard Ice pick two people from The Next Step and then The Next Step pick one person from Hard Ice to go face to face, Hard Ice, you pick first." The announcer exclaimed. Everyone was so confused. The other team made up their mind, "We choose, the short one and the tall one." One of the members from Hard Ice said pointing to Piper and... Finn. By now, everyone heard about their break up, so the team's more then a little worried their gonna screw it. 

Ten minutes later, the small brunet and the tall blond are rehearsing on the stage, in. complete. silence. "You know, we're gonna have to talk to each other to win this thing?" Finn said not meeting Piper's gaze. "Fine." Piper said firmly, getting out of her splits and standing up. Finn and Piper worked, surprisingly well with it each other and got their duet done. Before they were going to leave the room Finn had to ask her a question. "Can I ask something?" Piper nodded and her eyes met Finn's. "If - when we win this, will you take me back?" "Finn I -" I love you though Pipes." Finn states for the second time that day. She's smiling, "I know, I love you too Finn but how do we know we're gonna win this? I mean, you are dancing with me of all people." Piper said not believing in her self. This made Finn's heart break even more, what amazing dancer don't believe in them self? Finn questioned to him self. "Piper, I've told you this more then count less times but, your an amazing dancer and person and we ARE going to win this okay?" 

Hard Ice just finished their performance, this made Piper's nerves kick in because they scored 95. Before her and Finn walked on, she squeezed his hand, he looked down at her with a smile and Piper just rolled her eyes playfully. They walked on stage, they danced their hearts out, it didn't even seem like they broke up a few hours ago, they are so in love with one another. And the dance finished, Finn more scared of the result then Piper because of the question he asked her earlier. 

They won, they actually won, which means Piper and Finn are back together. After hearing the score,(97), Finn pulled Piper into a really tight hug and all Piper could do was smile. When they pulled away Finn asked the one question, "We won so does that mean we're together aga -" Before Finn could finish his sentence, Piper got up on her tipy toes and kissed him deeply with so much love. I guess I got my answer, Finn thought whilst kissing his girlfriend in front of a room full of people. After a little while, Piper pulled a while with a huge grin on her face and said, "Yes, Finn." And all Finn did was pick her up and spin her around, as soon as he put his girlfriend on the ground, they kissed.
