Piper and Finn one shots A-Z

D. Dinner night

A/N: This is dedicated to @infinitypinn_ because I love you! Go and read her books, she's crazy talented!!

So in this one, every few months both Piper and Finn's family have dinner together and all the siblings get along. Finn and Piper have been together for 2 yrs in this

Finn's family: Finn himself - 17    Hannah(older sister) - 18    Maisie(younger sister) - 10 Mary(Finn's mother)      Michael but goes by Mike (Finn's father) 

Piper's family: Piper herself - 16    James  - 19(James still lives at home but is planning on moving out)      Leah(older sister) - 18      Sophia (younger sister) - 11     Deborah, (Piper's mother) Ben (Piper's father) 

Piper is currently sat at the dinning room table doing home work whilst also watching her mum cook. When James sits opposite his one of his  baby sisters,( Leah is up stairs whilst Sophia is in the basement watching a movie) Piper looks up at him with confusion. "What?" She asked her older brother. "Nothing." James answered but then sneakily snatching an apple slice of her plate. "Hey!" Piper exclaimed. "What, I'm hungry!" James answered chuckling and taking another slice before going over to see what his mum was making. Their mum was making sort of like a feast with all sorts pastries, chicken and finger food. So more like a bufe "Don't annoy Piper James." Deborah told her son. "All I did was take a slice because I was hungry!" "Have one of these if your hungry then." Deborah suggested pointing to one of her already made foods for the dinner, if it would make them not shout at each other she thought. Losing a piece of food is always better then James and Piper fighting. And not only in their mother's eyes, in their father's, Leah's and Sophia's eyes too. 

At Finn's house, he was getting ready. Whenever it was dinner night with hiss girlfriend's family, he wanted to make it a happy night because he wants to make her happy, and not stressed for Internationals. "Finn! Come down, I need you to do something before we leave!" Mary, Finn's mother yelled from downstairs. She got a muffled, "Coming!" before he was half way down the stairs. "Could you and Hannah pick Maisie up from her friend's? I told her she couldn't go earlier but I gave in."  "Fine, Hanna, we're picking Maisie up!" Finn called up to his older sister. 

About two hours later, Finn's family was ready to go. Finn was more then excited because A)this is the first time that both parents are agreeing that Finn sleeps over, (in separate rooms requested by James of course), B)since they had the day off  yesterday, his bro's dragged him to the movies with out the girls, which means he hasn't seen Piper in like forever. Only two days but still. Finn was putting his sleepover stuff into the car and then messaging Piper letting her know that he's on his way. Every time they ate dinner together, (with or with out their families), or just to go on dates, he always liked sending her the, 'Just left my house' message. 

Back at Piper's house, her face lit up as she saw her boyfriend's text. "Their on the way!" She exclaimed excitedly standing up from the coach. Piper was also excited for the same reasons Finn was. Piper was in the middle of making him something before her mum called her to complete her homework, and since she knows the distance from her house and Finn's (45 minutes), she knows she has time to finish it. So she quickly jogged up to her room to finish his gift. Piper wasn't sure that Finn is going to like her gift but, she wanted to make him something special because he's the most special person to her. 

Around 45 minutes later, the door bell rang and Piper raced downstairs. Leah was just about to face the door when her little sister suddenly appeared in front of her. "Woah Piper slow down!" Leah exclaimed chuckling. Piper unlocked the door and slowly opened it, "Hey Pipes!" Her very cute boyfriend said whilst picking her up and spinning her around. At some point during her laugh, he heard her reply with "hey Finn." When he put her down, he cupped her face and leaned down to kiss her when she went on her tippy toes. They broke apart  seconds later and Piper welcomed his family in. 

Since the two family's are actually really close with one another, Maisie and Sophia went of playing with each other, Hanna stayed and chatted with James and Leah and Finn and Piper went to Piper's room. When they entered her room, she forgot she didn't hide her present so Finn asked, "What's this?" Whilst pointing to a box on her bed. "It was going to be a surprise but I forgot to hide it, but I can give it to you now." "Pipes you didn't - " "I did though." Piper finished her sentence when climbing onto her bed and going to the pillows. Once at the pillows she crossed her legs, Finn mirrored what she did.  Piper passed the box with a big fish, a small fish and a cardboard box drawn on top over to her boyfriend. Without even opening the box, Finn was already smiling. He glanced over at Piper before opening it. Inside, where a bunch of pictures of the couple, when they were together and when they were only best friends, a letter, a home made bracelet and some other things she thought he would like. "Pipes." Finn said sweetly glancing at her with happy tears in his eyes from reading her letter. He looked at the photos, read the letters and looked at the other things before putting his bracelet on. "I love it, all of it, thank you. I love you!" "I love you too Finn and your welcome!" They both leaned in at the same time but in the middle Finn remembered something. "Wait!" He exclaimed leaning back out. Piper was confused, but when Finn got  a also home made bracelet out for his girlfriend, her confused face was switched with a smile. "I know it's not as much as what you gave me but, I made this for you." Piper smiled sweetly. "It's beautiful Finn, I love it, I love you thank you." "I love you too." The bracelet was quickly put on Piper's wrist before they both leaned in again, this time, connecting their lips and smiling into the kiss. 

Piper put her arms behind his neck, gripping on to his hair, Finn pulled her close until she was on his lap. Slowly, pushing her down so her back would be on her bad, they heard, "Food!" Coming from Piper's mum. They pulled back breathless, they connected their foreheads together before saying, "I guess we should go and eat." Finn got up and Piper sat up a bit before leaving her room. 

The families were chatting, the parents sat next to each other, Sophia and Maisie, the older siblings near around each other and of course, Piper and Finn next to each other. The food was delicious, Finn's family knew that Deborah was a great cook. After dinner, the families sat in the sitting room watching a movie. At the end, the family that came for dinner went back home apart from Finn. He was sat with his arms wrapped around Piper's waist, she had her head laid on his chest as she slept peacefully. She missed half of the movie because she was sleeping from tiredness. James some how got convinced by Leah to let Finn sleep in the same room as Piper, she reminded him about the first time Riley slept over. The arguments he went through with his parents before they agreed. 

Piper woke up looking into Finn's eyes at 9:45PM, they were still on the coach, the others (except for Piper), decided they would put another movie on since it wasn't that late. Finn smiled when he saw his girlfriend's opening, "She awake?" Leah whispered turning her head towards Finn, he nodded turning his attention to his adorable sleepy girlfriend. "What time is it?" Piper asked sitting up rubbing her eyes, yet staying in Finn's arms. He answered her and they both went to bed because she was tired. And to be honest, so was he, but he didn't want to wake Piper. 

Looking at the pictures she gave him once again, Finn waited for Piper when she got ready for bed in the bath room, Finn had already gotten ready for bed. The bath room door opened with Piper entering her bedroom, she closed her bathroom door behind before going into her bed. She got into the covers and turned to Finn, "When did you make all of this?" Finn asked turning his head with a smile but a confused smile, "A little while but it's worth it." Her boyfriend's smile grew wider, if possible. She laid down facing him, Finn put the box back together and put it on her bed side table before mirroring her actions once again. 

With in the next twenty minutes, they had one of the most important talks about being a couple and ended up... 

The next morning Piper woke up in Finn's arm and she felt safe, happy, and kind of tired. She turned in his arms to face him, Piper started to play with his hair and two minutes later Finn woke up, "Morning baby." He said so softly, kissing her soft lips for the first time that day. "Morning Finny." Piper replied with once they pulled back. Piper put her head on Finn's shoulder for comfort, her boyfriend interlocked their hands and told her, "I love you Pipes." "I love you too Finn."
