Back at Work

Spencer and Aaron continues to eat with Penelope and Derek.

"Oh, good news, Jones and Matthews are out of the Bureau," Aaron says and Penelope and Derek congratulate Spencer.

"Yeah, I'm really glad. I don't really want to deal with them," Spencer smiles and Hotch grabs his hand from under the table.

All of phones their go off with a message and they take out their phones.

"Holy-" Penelope says when everyone else stands up.

"Penelope, Baby Girl, put the phone down, we got to go," Derek says trying to talk her down.

"But J.J.-" Penelope stammers, eyes brimming her eyes.

"I know, we need you to help with this," Derek says and Penelope keeps staring at her phone.

Derek grabs her phone and turns it off for her and holds her arm to stand up. Everyone heads over two streets to a nearby bank.

"How long has this been going on?" Hotch asks immeditaly getting out of the car.

"No longer than twenty minutes," the police chief, Officer Joyner, answers.

"Garcia pull up the security footage of the bank," Hotch demands as Penelope is getting her computer out.

"Here," Penelope says a few seconds later, showing the guys the footage. 

Emily and Rossi pull up shorly after and they Rossi asks, "What exactly is happening?"

"A bank robbery. With J.J., Will and Henry inside," Spencer sadly says and Rossi nods.

"This must be hard for you, Reid," Emily whispers to him and he nods.

"What's the game plan?" Emily asks everyone.

"We don't know yet," Aaron answers.

"We have to do something! Our friends are in there!" Emily says and Aaron looks at her sternly.

"We can't go in there guns blazing either, Prentiss," Aaron says.

Emily goes to say something when a gunshot followed by a yelp is heard.

The team rushes over to see what happened and are relieved when it wasn't anybody, but a the second of three gunman misfiring.

The team talks a little longer before they get a plan together.

"Prentiss, are you okay with hostage negoatition?" Hotch asks and Prentiss nods.

"Morgan, you okay with going in if we have too?" Aaron asks and he nods.

"Okay, Garcia help Prentiss set up. Me and Reid will head around back. Rossi, you will help the police with getting hostages out of the way," Aaron demands and everyone gets ready.

"Hey, Reid, are you okay? I know you and J.J. are really close," Aaron asks and Spencer nods.

"Let's just get this over with," Reid mumbles and they head around back with a few officers.

Emily begins the hostage interegation.

"Hello?" the third man answers the phone.

"Hi, my name is Agent Emily Prentiss, with the FBI," Emily says and the guy snickers.

"Guys, it's Emily Prentiss with the FBI. What are you going do pretty lady?" The man snickers more.

"I want you to let go of the hostages," Emily sternly says.

"What's it you? Why are they so important, ay?" The man asks and he goes quiet.

"Sir, I want them out safe and sound," Emily says and the third man raises his gun to the crowd.

"Which one are you here for?" the man growls.

"Sir, please let the hostages go-" Emily pleads before a gunshot is heard and a random man's groan is heard.

"Was he the one you wanted?" He asks.

Before Emily could answer the first man and the third man leaves the second man in there, going around back.

"Well, got to go, Agent," The man says and hangs up the phone, leaving the building. Gunshots can be heard followed by yelling.

Once the altercation is over, Hotch could heard in the team's earpeice's saying, "We got the trio, one wounded and one dead."

J.J, Will and Henry shortly after everyone else and medics head into the building to help the wounded.

The team rushes over to them and makes sure they're okay.

"Guys, I'm fine. Thank you for checking," J.J. smiles and Spencer finally sees J.J. with Hotch shortly behind.

Spencer sprints and hugs J.J. tightly and she hugs back tighter.

"I'm so glad you guys are safe," Reid smiles and J.J. nods.
