I'm so excited I'm graduating and it's my birthday.

I mean who can say today is there birthday and they are graduating. I just wish my parents were here.

"Knock knock". Candace said while opening the door.

"You know your suppose to knock and then wait for me to say come in".

"Yeah I don't do that so happy birthday graduation". She said smiling walking over to me.

I smiled then looked down at my hands.

"What's wrong Chloe"?

I turned and faced her. "I just wish mom and dad were here you know watch me walk across that stage like they did for you".

She sighed and took my hands.

"Well they will be just not physically there but right now they are looking down on you and they are proud that there baby girl is graduating and even grandma and our grandpas will be there".

I smiled a little.

"I have something for you".

Candace walked out of the room. Then back in with a small box.

She handed it to me. "What is it"?

"Maybe if you opened it you would know". She said smiling at me

I took the ribbon off and opened the box. It was a gorgeous necklace.

"It was moms she gave me one on my eighteenth birthday and she told me if something ever happened to her before to give you the other one. But mom and dad died a little before you turned eighteen so I couldn't give it to you that's why I'm giving it to you on your nineteenth birthday".

I was trying not to cry. "It's beautiful thank you".

I hugged her and she hugged back.

"Now do you want me to do your hair or makeup first".

I looked at her like she was crazy.

"What"?

"You know you don't even wear makeup and you want to do mind".

She laughed. "Doesn't mean I can't do makeup".

I smiled at her. "Fine but don't make me look really ugly".

"I promise".

After she did my makeup she started doing my hair.

"So is Justin coming"? I asked eating my muffin

"Yeah but he might be late".

"Why".

"Um I don't know what". She sounded kinda suspicious

"Oh okay". I just let it go

"So after your graduation grandma wants to have dinner".

"Do you remember when we were little she wouldn't even let us call her that cause she was 'too young for that'". I said doing air quotes.

"I mean she did have mom when she was sixteen".

"And mom had you when she was sixteen then had me at 22.

"True grandma was only 38 when we were little and now she's 55".

"She finally wants to be a grandma". I said laughing.

"I'm done now we have about two hours to get to your graduations and I need to leave an hour early I want a good seat".

"Okay then go get dressed and let me get dressed".
