“Darling,Wakes me up
from these nightmares”

Myung-He's POV

"Hey!."

"Myung!!."

I opened my eyes at being suddenly shaken.

There before me looking worriedly was a pair of eyes.

"Jeog...guk?"

"What's wrong? You were tossing and turning like you had a nightmare."

"Huh? Where am I?"

Huh?

"Not 'huh' This is your room and You're on your dormitory bed."

His chest was naked where the book had fallen down. He was on the chair beside.

Ah that's right. After messing around in the bath I had fallen into sleep watching him reading. He said he will go to his room after a while. I remember everything now.

"I was tossing and turning?"

"Yeah. Did you have a bad dream?"

"I don't think it was bad necessarily."

A deep sadness. A heart gripped with despair. It had felt so real that now that I was awake I could still feel the pain in my heart.

"I see," Jeongguk finally lay back down beside me pulling the sheets smooth over me again.

"What was it about?" he asked.

"I'm not even sure myself. It was a dream about fire but it was really about waiting for someone. I was left behind in a room as it burned."

"You were waiting for someone even as you were surrounded by fire?"

"Yeah. But they didn't come so I was sad and cried."

"I came for you didn't I?" Jeongguk hugged me and pressed a kiss on my cheek. "I woke you up didn't I? There's no need to cry."

"Yeah," I closed my eyes softly, pressing my face to his broad chest surrounded by Gguk's kind arms, I didn't move away despite he will knows I'm crying.

"Was it so scary?" Gguk asked quietly, his hand smoothen my hair petting my head.

I opened my eyes."No, only painful and lonly.”

I held Jeongguk tightly, if he was there in my dream I wouldn't feel this much of pain. There was no point I will left behind by Jeongguk.

I was sorry that I had cried and made him worry for me, but I was helpless by the overwhelming emotions surrounding me, invisibly controlled by some unknown.

"It had nothing near to scary. I mean I..."

I wasn't waiting for him. It's not Jeongguk I was there waiting in the middle of the fire.

"Really?" he breathed sweetly by my ear.

"Yes really nothing scary," I wrapped my arms around Jeongguk's neck.

"It was probably just some scene I saw in a movie. It was very vivid I even remember what pattern was on the curtains in the burning room"

" That's rare for someone memory-challenged like you," He teased. He knows I don't show any interest in remembering people or matters that relates to outside my interest, that's how I cop up with the world, a way of self protection from pain.

"That's right it's rare. There was a wooden side table by the bed with a classical relief design on the edges. On top of that was an old black rotary phone and beside that was a calendar..."

“Then?” he asked, pushing me back and kissing me on my neck.

"I...It was August," I squirmed from his tease.

"Hmm anything else?" Jeongguk asked listening to my story seemingly happily and kissing everywhere around my torso.

"On the ceiling was a very fine chandelier," no more near to beautiful, it was bezare under the flame.

"Sounds like some rich person's room. One who likes retro."

"Probably the bed I was on had a canopy. Ah..." The rest was cut off by his tight hug, He create an invisible circle around me.

I closed my eyes tightly under his  capable arms. He was soothing me by his warmth intentionally. I had to think it was his strategy to divert my attention, as always.
