“Like the painting of the sorrow,
a face without a heart.”

Author's POV

Jeon Jungkook sensed something was wrong when he returned home.

He went over to Seara's room and found she was not there. He searched around the house for his sister in the backyard, garden, and in the library.

The absence of her made him think his father knew about her whereabouts. He went to his office room. Find the old man behind the dark oak wood table, focusing on reading some papers.

“Where is Seara's father?” Jeon Jung kook asked without waiting to greet the old man.

“Where she should be” he muttered, not looking up from the paper.

“Where is she?”

“She is in her husband's house.”

“What?!”

“How can you do this? You know Park will hurt her, he had done destruction enough”

“This is for the best for the both of you.”

“No, you mean best for yourself, for your business and status right father?”

“Don't be absurd son” Old Joen finally put the paper back to the desk and took off his gold rimmed glasses.

“If I'm being Absurd tell me, father. Why else would you wait for me to leave this house to call Park Jimin? You know I won't allow him inside and not my sister to go with him.”

“Seara is in her home. With her husband.” Jeon emphasises the last part. His voice had turned serious.

“I'm going to take her home, father, this is her home too.”

Jeon Jungkook stormed off from the office. He walked to his room, found the telephone and dialled the number of someone who he thought would want Seara free and happy as much as he desired.

Jeongguk waited impatiently for the other side and drummed on the desk.

“Taehyung! Pick it up you brat!!”

His eyes brimmed with tears thinking of his poor sister. He knows she loves Kim Taehyung. Jeon Jungkook isn't against them. Not against her happiness.

I'm going to talk to the young master myself. He is the only one I ask for help. He will take the ship and then prepare a place for him and them to stay away from his father's watch. It's going to be fine.

It was already hard for him when his father Jeon agreed to the arranged marriage ignoring his protest and neglecting his happiness for the money and power of kims.

But it's better than living a life which he doesn't desire, he doesn't want to be like his sister, unhappy and suffocated.

Jeon Jungkook looks back one last time  before he jumps into the vintage style car.

He has to get his sister. Escape together from this selfish drama of his father.

Seara wouldn't forgive him if he went away to London without a notice, Jeon Jungkook drove towards the destination, without having any idea that his sister was dead.

The rain reeled. He slowed down a bit.

Seven o'clock, Jeon Jungkook took a sudden break. Through the dim yellow light emitting from his car he made out something is standing in the centre of the road.

There was someone else waiting for him.

The person was in front of the car, putting a raincoat over his head.

Doubting about getting out of the safety of the car, Jungkook pressed the horn again and again. But the person didn't move out of his way. Taking a long breath to calm himself Jeon Jungkook stepped outside to the rain.

The chilling cold hit harshly and the wetness made him curse under his lips.

The silhouette moves forward along with a shining silver lightning. Casted out all the shadow hiding his face, the person stopped close to Jeon Jungkook.

Then he saw the face clearly.

He stand there, Like the painting of the sorrow, a face without a heart

“What are you doing here Jimin?”

Jimin smiled poisonously. Then the smile faded away.

“Waiting for you.” He didn't miss the menacing tone and the mark of faded blood stain on his clothes. Something isn't right.

Jungkook shuddered. Sure, you are waiting, but how the hell do you know I'm coming this way. Jungkook prayed quietly. Be alright sister, I'm coming to get you. Hang in there, I will take you away from this man.

“Why are you waiting there in this bloody rain Jmin? Are you crazy or some? And what's those” Jungkook points out Jimin's clothes.

“I made a guess, I almost thought of killing you in some other way and you showed up. Bad luck, but now that you are here, nobody will know what happened.”

“I don't understand” Jungkook hissed, half of Jimin’s voice was drowned in the humming of water. “What the hell are you blabbering about?”

“Your friend, he is dead. Gone.” Jimin made an action with his hand “Poof, yeah just like that, Taehyung died, burning” Jimin patted his chest, where the blood stain is darker.

“No”

“Should you have stopped your sister from falling for Taehyung, a better brother, but you didn't and now he is dead.”

“Well, I will be sending you there to give him company!” He jumps and hits full force on his face.

Jungkook stumbled and groaned in pain. He picked himself up fast. He knows Jimin doesn't like him. Well, the hate feelings were mutual but he didn't think Park Jimin went out his way to hurt him.

“I will kill you, I will damn end you”

Jeon Jungkook escapes from the psychopathic killer without a backward glance, into the woods.

He runs to hide himself in the shades of tall trees.

He doesn't know how far he has come, in which direction he is going as he runs and runs and runs.
