Hey you guys, I'm back with another chapter for y'all. The responses for this story are so overwhelming that I have decided I'm gonna continue with this and pause my Rhesha story for a little while. Also I kinda have a writer's block for that story and I'm not able to write it since I don't want to make things repetitive. Alright, here we go.
______
It was a bright morning and the alarm was ringing too loud. Mishti groaned and covered her ears with a pillow. A few seconds later the alarm started ringing again and Mishti roamed her hand to the other side of the bed, hitting someone's nose as the alarm's snooze button."Mishti!! Alarm band karo na yaar!"
"Abir, alarm clock tumhari side rakhi hai! Tum band karo!" Abir murmured something under his breath and took a turn to turn off the alarm. He then turned towards Mishti and stretched out his arm. Mishti gave him a big smile and shifted closer to him, keeping her head on his arm, her arm around his torso and her legs entangled with his.
"Good Morning Angry Chorni!" He greeted and pecked her lips.
"Good Morning Ajeeb Rajvansh." she replied after the kiss and pecked him again much to Abir's surprise.

Mishti woke up with a jerk, saying "Abir" and breathing heavily. Shaking away that thought, she looked at the empty left side of her bed, which was Abir's preferred side and moved her hand around it.Over her head rest, on the wall was a large family portrait - on the couch, Shekhar and Karishma sat on the left, Vishesh and Sumidha on the right with little Pari in between her chhoti nani and dadi. Mishti and Pankhuri stood on the left, next to the Kapoors and Ansh and Vansh on the right, next to their parents.
There were other several photo frames in her room - tons of Pari and her, a few with the elders and with Pankhuri, Ansh and Vansh. But she had all the photographs with the Maheshwari's and Rajvansh's in her side table's drawer.
She didn't feel like getting out of the bed today, mostly because she was tired after yesterday's events but also because she dreaded for the meeting at Abir's place today.
Oh how she wished that it was a weekday so that she could make an excuse of going to work. But alas! The school had to remain closed on weekends. Today for the first time in her life she wished for the schools to be open all seven days.
Sighing, she got up and made her bed, walking inside the bathroom to freshen up. She came out of the bathroom in a flower pattern sundress with her hair wet. She walked up to the mirror and rubbed her hair with the towel, putting on some face cream, lipbalm and her mirror pendant.
Her hand reached for the sindoor box and she took a pinch of it, bringing her fingers to the hair parting only to realise what she was doing. A little sindoor fell on her nose while putting it back in the box and she cleaned it off. A sudden flashback of their wedding came into her mind when the sindoor fell on her nose and she wiped it on Abir's face.
Walking down to the living room, she saw Shekhar and Vishesh sitting at the dining table, reading a newspaper. Vishesh uncle preferred reading the Hindi newspaper while Shekhar uncle preferred the English one. Pankhuri and Vansh as obvious were talking about something random or having their typical quarrels. Ansh bhai was stuffing his face with the breakfast as he had to leave for an important meeting and Sumidha aunty and Mumma were looking at wedding magazines, jewelleries, clothes and other wedding related information.
Why did they even have two houses? She wondered.
"Good morning fam!" Mishti said, greeting everyone. She went to Sumidha and Karishma first, hugging them, then she went to Shekhar and Vishesh, Pankhuri and Vansh and lastly Ansh. But there was someone missing at the table - her baby, Pari.
"Bhai, Pari kahan hai?" She questioned.
"Woh abhi tak so rahi hai. Usne bola hai jabtak uski Mishtu usse uthaane nahi aati, woh nahi uthegi. " Ansh replied, shaking his head at his daughter's crazy demands. Mishti just laughed. "Mai usse lekar aati hoon fir. 10 baj gaye hain. Bhooki hogi meri bachhi!"
Mishti climbed up to Pari's room which was the most precious room in the whole house. It was painted with Lavender walls and the softest bed kept in between the room. Her walls were decorated with fairy lights and several dreamcatchers. It was filled with all kinds of soft toys including teddy bears, Mickey & Minnie mouse etc.
"Good morning my precious bean!" Mishti chirped, climbing to Pari's side and pulling her in a cocoon. Pari giggled in Mishti's arms, sinking in deep inside her arms.
"Good Morning Mishtu!" Pari replied and her stomach gurgled making both of them laugh. Mishti picked her up, taking her to the bathroom to freshen up and down to have breakfast. After wrapping everything up, the family was relaxing since it was Saturday. Karishma went to Mishti and cautiously asked her, "Tujhe aaj Abir ke ghar jaana hai na?"
" Haan Mumma. I'm so scared. Pata nahi kya hoga wahan par. Bade papa, Badi Ma, sab honge. Kuhu bhi hogi! "Mishti replied and creased her eyebrows in tension.
"Sab theek hoga Mishtu. Tu bas itna yaad rakh ki tu sahi hai. Teri koyi galati nahi hai. Tu unn logon ke taane ya gussa nahi sunegi. And agar tu bolti hai toh mai tere saath chalti hoon. "
" Nahi Mumma. I'll manage. Yeh mujhe akele hi karna hoga. Mai thodi der mai nikalti hoon. " Mishti went to her room and picked up her phone calling someone.
"Tune mujhe bataya kyun nahi ki bade papa, badi ma aur baaki sab log Mumbai aa rahe hai? "Mishti screamed at the person on the other end.
" Miss Tea Pot yaar mujhe nahi pata tha ki woh log Mumbai jaa rahe hain!"
