Chapter 19: Wonderland

"Oh Shit! " Mishti whispered and Abir who heard her just looked confused.

She immediately came up to Nishant and Ashvika, carefully whispering, "Nannu, do you think this is the right thing to do?"

" MissTea Pot, tune hi bola tha ki yeh meri family hai, and mai ab inse kuch nahi chhupana chahta. Trust me, mene socha hai iss baare me."

Mishti nodded and squeezed her best friends hands as a support.

"Ashvi, don't worry about anything okay. Nannu and I are with you. " Mishti whispered and walked back to see what Nishant had planned to do next.

"Mom, Dadi, Taiji! Yeh Ashvika hai." Nishant walked towards his family. Ashvika bent and touched the three women's feet and they blessed her, still confused as to what is happening.

"Nannu, yeh kaun hai lekin?" Jasmeet asked a question she probably knew the answer for, seeing the vermillion and mangalsutra around Ashvika.

"Mom, yeh Ashvika Bose hai. Ashvika Nishant Maheshwari. Meri wife!" Jasmeet staggered at her feet and Varsha immediately held her by the shoulders.

"Wife? Nannu, tune shaadi karli bina hume bataye. Esa kese kar sakta hai tu apni maa ke sath?" Jasmeet questioned, breaking into tears.

" Jasmeet, nannu hum log iss baare mein baad mai baat kare? Aaj Ketki aur Ansh ka din hai. Mehmaan kabhi bhi aate honge. Filhaal ke liye sab ese pretend karte hai ki sabh kuch normal hai. Aur haan, Ashvika beta, humare parivaar mein tumhara dher saara swagat. " Rajshree handled the situation, and Nishant walked to the corner, meeting Abir and Abir's angels while Ashvika and Mishti hugged each other.

"Chachi, nanchak aur unki wife Mishti se ese mil rahe hain jese in 6 saalo mai yeh teeno jaante the ek doosre ko. " Kuhu whispered in Jasmeet and Varsha's ear and they nodded seeing how comfortable Ashvika was with Mishti and Nishant didn't even bother to meet Kuhu and everyone else.

"Kese ho aap Nishant bhaiya, Ashvi Bhabhi, last time humari London ki trip ke baad to aap hume bhool hi gaye." Pankhuri said jokingly.

" UriPankh, mai tujhe kese bhool sakta hoon. Tu meri favourite behen hai. Achha yeh bata, tujhe iss idiot Vansh ne kitna pareshaan kiya. Abhi isko daant ta hoon mai!" Nishant replied and pulled Vansh's ear whereas Ashvika immediately helped Vansh by scolding Nishant.

"Nish, stop being so rude to Vanshie! I'm sure, Pankhuri irritates this guy more than he does. "

" Aree bhabhi! Sirf aap aur Di hi Vansh ki team mai rehete ho. How mean!"

" Achha aur jo teri team mai Ansh bhaiya, mumma, papa, Dad, mom, Nishant bhaiya hai! Uska kya? " Vansh shoved Pankhuri sideways.

" Tum dono ko pata hai na ki tumhe future mai shaadi karni hai? Ese ladte rahoge toh mai dono ke liye alag alag partners ko dhoondh laaungi." Sumidha said in fake anger, approaching the whole gang who still acted like 3 year olds.

"Chalo, chalo! Sangeet shuru karte hai! Karishma said and Nishant went to hug her.

" Kaise ho aap Aunty?"
"Mai bilkul theek hu Nannu. Achha laga ki tune finally Ashvika ko apne parivaar se milaane ka faisla liya. Jaa Ansh aur Ketu se mil le."

The sangeet started with Pankhuri and Vansh dancing on a fast beat song, followed with the all the boys dancing on aankh maarey and then the girls killing it with Aithey Aa. Last but not the least, it was time for a slow song with the couples. Ansh and Ketki were the first one to dance and then the rest joined in.
