Luke couldn't help but feel... strange, to say the least, all through the night. Knowing of the nightmares that were bound to come didn't help. But neither did the black haired boy who seemed to be haunting his thoughts.

Don't focus on him. Focus on the mission. On Kronos.

Once more, Luke wondered if he was doing the right thing. He shook the thoughts off uneasily. It wasn't like him to be indecisive. At least not to this extent.

I need some air.

Luke slipped out of his bed and made his way out to the bow of the Princess Andromeda.

Kai stood there, gazing out at the sea.

"Kai. What are you doing up?" Luke called.

The daughter of Khione spun around quickly, a hand floating down to her waist where a knife was left on instinct. At least Luke hoped it was just instinct. He didn't feel like fighting the brunette.

"Couldn't sleep." She shrugged, letting her hand fall back to her side. "And you?"

"Same." He said, sighing heavily and coming to stand next to her.

She smirked. "I know that look... who is it?"

"What?"

"Who was keeping you awake?"

"No one." Luke said defensively, his thoughts for some reason drifting toward Ethan Nakamura. He shook it off.

"Uh huh. I believe that." Kai said, a knowing glint in her eye.

"What's that supposed to mean?" Luke demanded.

"Oh nothing... just that you're catching feelings for someone. Dangerous business, Luke. There's always a little danger in that." Kai said, nodding grimly.

"Feelings? Like-romantic feelings?"

"Yes." Kai said simply. She patted Luke on the shoulder before slipping back out towards the inside of the ship, leaving Luke alone with his thoughts.

Ethan Nakamura. What are you doing to me?

Ew I kinda hate that. Does anyone like it? No? Thought so lol.
