Chapter 6

"Alright Luke, that's it. I can't wait any longer for you to talk to your mother. Go tomorrow. Take someone with you if you need to. I will not wait any longer. You've tested my patience quite enough."

Luke sat bolt upright in his bed, his hair stuck to his forehead with sweat and his bed sheets damp. He gazed over his room quickly, his breathing coming in short gasps.

Kronos wouldn't wait any longer. He had to go to his mother. And he had to do it now.

Who am I going to take with me? I can't face her alone. Luke thought, gazing over his troops of demigods and monsters. He could take Kai, but she probably wouldn't want to go. He could take Kelli, but he didn't want her to go. He could take really any of the monsters there, but he still felt uneasy around them. Years of being attacked by their brethren wasn't just something you could forget.

"Kelli!" Luke called. "Come here."

The Empousa turned and walked over to Luke. "What do you need?"

"Go fetch-"

"Luke!" Kai rushed forward, her hair messy and sweat dripping down her temple.

"What?" He asked, easily distracted from what he was doing, most likely because he didn't want to be doing it.

"That Nakamura kid is the real deal. He almost beat me!"

"I did beat you." Ethan corrected, walking forward as well. "What's happening here?"

Luke hesitated.

Am I going to regret this? He asked himself. 

Yes. Are you gonna do it anyway? He answered himself.

Apparently.

"Nakamura. I need your help on a mission."

Talk about trashy updates. Sorry I tried and kinda failed, but at least we're actually going somewhere finally. This'll probably only be at most 10 chapters long? Idk yet but I don't think I have enough ideas to make it any longer lol.
