Sarah could see Professor McGonagall's mouth moving. Logically, she knew that McGongall was speaking, probably something important about safety or rules when going to Hogsmeade. Yet, Sarah just couldn't find it in herself to care one bit. "Sarah. Sarah!" She snapped out of her thoughts when she heard Ava yelling at her.
"Wait, what?"
"Did you hear what McGonagall just said?"
"Was it important?"
"Yes. She said we have to be careful and stay in groups in case Sirius Black is spotted. I may say I'm ready for death and that I wouldn't be upset if Pansy pushed me off a cliff as long as I dragged her down with me, but I'm not actually ready for death!"
"It's just common sense, Ava. Also, I thought we had a suicide pact. It's super rude that you are even thinking about killing yourself with Pansy. I get that you guys have hooked up and all, but are you really going to kill yourself over a vagina?"
"It was one time!"
"I still don't understand how you managed to hook up with her."
"Well, for one, she wasn't talking when my tongue was down her throat, so there's that." Sarah gave Ava a look while Ava was grinning from ear to ear, proud of her little remark.
"You're disgusting." Ava glared at Sarah before the pair went off towards the carriages that took the class to Hogsmeade for the day.
"Okay. So where are we going first?" Before Sarah could even form an answer, Ava already found the solution after she hopped off of the carriage. "I could go for a new dress right about now, and would you look at that! We are right in front of the only place that sells both muggle and wizard clothes in Hogsmeade! How strange and oddly convenient."
"You are literally the worst person ever." Ava blew a kiss at Sarah as Ava held the door open for the two to enter the small shop. Ava's eyes were immediately drawn to a mid-length black halter dress while Sarah's eyes became glued to an oversized sweater with an intertwined gold and red pattern. The two looked at each other with wide eyes, Ava still clutching the dress in her hands and Sarah holding the sweater close to her. Her hands ran over the fabric while she squealed loudly, attracting the attention of the others in the store. "It's not my fault that it's high quality fabric. Mind your own business." Ava started to chuckle as the pair walked up to the counter to purchase their finds.
Ava and Sarah spent the next hour our so browsing the shops that lined the streets of Hogsmeade, but it soon grew too cold for either of them to bear. Walking into a little restaurant on the corner, the pair ordered two cups of coffee and the soup of the day with grilled cheese. The pair immediately dug into their food. Sarah moaned as she bit into the grilled cheese, "I would marry this grilled cheese if I could." Her eyes were closed as she clutched the grilled cheese.
"I never knew a grilled cheese could evoke such strong emotions." Sarah choked on her food as she turned around to find Draco Malfoy smirking down at her. He and Blaise sat down at the two remaining seats at the table.
"Did I say you could sit down?"
"Have I ever cared about your opinion?" Ava loudly sipped her coffee as she and Blaise shared an amused look.
Ava leaned over and whispered into Blaise's ear, "I wish they would just fuck already and get some of that sexual tension out. It's disgusting."
"You are more likely to see Draco braiding my hair than admitting that he's attracted to Sarah." Ava and Blaise started to laugh as they tuned back into the hilarious conversation between Draco and Sarah. They really never stopped arguing. The pair were inching closer and to each other as they began to get heated with their insults. Unfortunately, this meant that Sarah's cup of coffee spilled all over both her and Draco, resulting in a string of colorful words flowing from both of their mouths.
"I'll be right back to wash this off of me." Sarah stomped off as Draco threw his chair back and followed her to the bathroom to do the same.
The door slammed shut behind Sarah but was reopened a few seconds later by Draco. "Move, Lennon."
"You can wait, Malfoy." He pushed her slightly over to the side as they fought over domination of the only sink in the only bathroom in the entire restaurant. It just seemed like a logistical issue to her, but, then again, Sarah was not an expert on the correct restaurant size to amount of bathrooms ratio.
She was furiously rubbing at the stain on her shirt when she heard Draco say, "You have to dab it, not rub it in."
"What?"
"You heard me. Just give me your shirt. Ill do it."
"Wow, Malfoy. If you wanted to see my boobs, you could have just said so."
"I'm never going to be helpful again. That's on you."
"Fine, Draco. Can you please get the coffee stain out of my shirt without requiring me to take my top off?" Draco sarcastically smiled at Sarah, but he moved over and helped her with the stain. She could feel his hand brush across her skin as he worked on the stain. Her eyes were glued on the veins that were etched across his skin.
"See something you like, Lennon?" His eyes glanced up at her as a knowing smirk covered his face.
"Just get rid of the stain, Malfoy."
"That sounded a lot like you were telling me what to do, Lennon."
"That's because I was, Malfoy." His hands dropped from the stain on her shirt and turned his full attention to her face as he inched even closer to her. Suddenly, Draco's lips landed on Sarah's. For a minute, Sarah didn't know what to do with herself and just stood there, but she quickly adapted to the situation and hopped onto the sink's counter. Draco leaned even closer in as he pulled away for a second, tracing the features that were sculpted across her face. "Ava and Blaise are going to wonder where we are."
"Let them wonder." Their lips immediately reattached as his hands traveled further down along her sides. His lips soon followed the pattern of his hands when the door suddenly began to shake as if someone was trying to get in.
"Hello?"
"Someone's in here!" Draco pulled away and began to fix his hair in the mirror, Sarah mimicking his actions before they left.
Ava and Blaise both looked up at the same time as Draco and Sarah approached the table. "You two crazy kids were sure gone a long time. We got worried and thought you might be lost or that Sirius Black got to you." Draco flipped Ava off while Sarah just threw herself back on the chair, questioning why she just made-out with Draco Malfoy in a bathroom.enjoy!!
