"You have got to be kidding me. Potions literally makes no sense."
"It's because your stupid."
"Don't be rude."
"It's what I'm best at." The two received a harsh shush from the librarian; Ava and Sarah were technically supposed to be studying but that was just not going to happen. There were other things more important going on like escaped murderers, Ava's theory that McGonagall and Snape are in a relationship and whatever is going on between Draco and Sarah, the former whom Sarah was avoiding at all costs. Shes been late to three of her classes today alone because she was avoiding the route that she passed Draco on. At least she will have nice calves and a strong stamina. As soon as Sarah thought about stamina, the image of Draco came to mind. This was not good. "Day dreaming about Draco?"
"Drooling over Luna?" Before Ava could reply, Draco, Crabbe, and Goyle sat down at the only open table in the library which happened to be right next to Sarah and Ava. All of Sarah's work avoiding Draco was for nothing.
Sarah glanced over at him, making brief eye contact with each other. Both quickly glanced away, adamant on avoiding discussion of what happened; Ava had different plans. "Draco. Draco. I know you hear me."
"What?"
"No need to be snappy, but have you done the work for potions because Sarah doesn't understand it and I just don't feel like helping her?" Sarah just hit her head on the table, mentally plotting Ava's death.
"Fine." Draco walked over and sat in the chair next to Sarah; the pair shared awkward eye contact with each other. "What do you not understand, Lennon?"
"Umm. I don't understand anything anymore."
"Okay. We'll start on the work for today then." Draco started to explain all of the different things, but Sarah just wasn't grasping the subject. "Are you even paying attention?"
"I'm trying, but it literally sounds like a foreign language."
"That's because some of it is in Latin."
"Oh." An embarrassed blush appeared on Sarah's cheeks. She could feel Draco's smirk growing, fueling her embarrassment. "You're definitely going to hold that above my head."
"Until I die, and if you die before me, I will say it at your funeral."
"Have I ever told you how charming you are?"
"You didn't say it in words per say." Sarah's cheeks instantly went red, causing Draco's smirk to grow even further which Sarah thought impossible. The worst part of it was that Sarah found that arrogant smirk of his really attractive. Like Sarah would not hesitate for a single minute if he asked to go to the back bookshelf and make out. Sarah was snapped out of her thoughts when Ava announced she was leaving. Not even a few seconds later, Crabbe and Goyle followed suit.
"There's some books in the back aisle that might help you." Sarah's head snapped around when she heard him say that. It was like he was reading her thoughts. The two left for the aisle that apparently had the book Sarah needed to pass her potions class. Her hands brushed along the spines of the books, scanning each titles. Draco tugged her closer to him, pointing to a book. She could feel his hands starting to drift lower on her waist. Suddenly, he spun her around by the waist, pushing her against the book shelf, leaving it to slightly rattle.
Sarah felt the air leave her lungs as she stuttered out, "What are you doing?"
He leaned in, his breath fanning her face. "What does it look like I'm doing?" Sarah grabbed his face, slamming her lips against his. Draco's hand drifted up under her skirt as he grabbed her thigh. His lips left marks on her neck as Sarah leaned her head back, tugging on his hair. Pieces of his pale blonde hair slipped in front of his eyes. One of his hands rested on the book case, pulling out a novel titled Potions: A Discussion in Breaking Down Latin. Draco pulled away, handing the book over to her. "See, I told you there was a book back here for you."
"I hate you."
"That's what makes it fun." He threw his weight against the bookcase, his eyes scanning her up and down. His tongue darted out to the side of his mouth while he ran his hands through his hair, returning it to its rightful state of absolute perfection.
"We should get back to studying. I really have no clue what's going on in the class."
"Then you should invest in an actual tutor. I don't think I'll be teaching you much about potions, but other things.." There it was again! His smirk! It's like it never left his face in the first place. Sarah wondered if he was born with a smirk on his face. That would make a lot of sense.
"Bye, Malfoy."
"See you later, Lennon." He strutted off, halting at the end of the aisle to ensure that no one was approaching. Sarah closed her eyes and leaned her head against the bookcase. Her hands fidgeted with a loose thread on her skirt, hugging the book tightly to her chest. She pushed herself off and walked to her table, seeing a note and her tie resting on her school books. She looked around, but no one was looking at her way.
Let's keep this a secret. Also I think you might by missing something. -D
Sarah threw her hand over her neck to confirm that her tie was in fact missing. How did he even manage to do that without her noticing! He is absolutely insufferable; maybe that's the appeal to her, or she just hated herself. Sarah sighed, shaking her head before attempting to focus on her work to no avail.sorry it's short enjoy!!
