Ricky bowen. Or Ricky im completely whiped for nini salazar-roberts bowen. Its a long name i know but he decided one day he was gonna change it.

Anddd nini salazar-roberts. Or nini i hate ricky bowen with everything inside of me salazar-roberts. What a longer name. Jeez.

Its not like nini wants to hate ricky, it just kinda happened. He always flirted with her, called her princess, cat called her. At first she didnt mind, she actually found it quite flattering infact. But after you a while it gets annoying.

Today was no different. Nini walked into class. Ricky said things like 'you look beautiful' or 'where you always that smart?'. You know shooting his shot. Which always seemed to hit him instead but what are you finna to do about it.

Around lunch nini sat at her usual tabel when laila Rodriguez passed by her. "You might need to buy larger jeans, the ones youre wearing seem a bit tight" she whispered in her ear. Ninis eyes widened, as felt her eyes sting but pushed them back.

"No actually, my jeans fit quite loose thank you very much" nini said with a big fake smile. Laila rolled her eyes and continued walking.

Nini tried to have a normal lunch but after someone you dont know very well telling you those things they tend to stick.

Ninis discomforting face did not go unnoticed by ricky. A frown stretched over his lips. He didnt like seeing nini sad. But he knew if he tried to ask she would just reply with a sassy comment about his hair, or his skateboard or something. So he sat in his seat and continued to eat his lunch.

Eventually 5th period came around and it was time for everyone to go back to class. Well Nini instead went to her locker and sat infront of it. Trying to stop the tears of insecurity from flooding her eyes. It was no use. She sat there feeling gross.
She crossed her arms, brought her legs close and sobbed quietly. She didnt really need to worry about teacher or stuff like that, most of them didnt care and continued walking.

She closed her eyes and wished for a world where this wasnt a problem.

At this moment she wished for home.

"Princess?"

20 minutes.

Ricky had been looking for nini for 20 minutes. This dumbass checked everywhere but ninis locker.
When he finally did he saw tears coming out of her eyes, breaking his heart. He hesitated before moving.

Nini wasnt the friendliest to him, and the last thing he wanted was to make her more in discomfort.

So he softly walked over and sat next to her.

"Princess?"

Her head snapped up and her eyes went wide. She quickly whiped her eyes and rubbed her face.

"Yes bowen?" She asked weakly, as she cleared her throat.

"Are you okay" he asked softly.

Nini hesitated, but if he really liked her, he wasn't going to judge her for the things that made her feel like shit. She shook her head "to be honest, no" she sighed, as she gave hima a weak smile. "This might be weird but c-can you give me a hug?"

"You dont even have to ask" he says wrapping his arms around her, resulting a small giggle leaving her mouth.
A smile stretched on to his face. Being able to produce such a beautiful sound was an amazing feeling. She softly rubbed her head in his chest which made rickys cheeks go a bit rosy.

Nini on the other hand finally felt at peace in the boys arms. She felt safe if you will.
This was confusing for nini to say the least. She thought she hated him, but she just might have to change her name to nini i might kinda like ricky bowen salazar-roberts.
"Im sorry" she said, leaning into his touch.
"For what princess?" He asked looking down at the small figure in his arms.
"For being so rude to you, when all you've ever done is treat me nicely" she softly said, her face glowing red in embarrassment.
"Well i forgive you"
Nini bit her bottom lip as she felt a smile creep onto her face.
"Thank you, also"
"Ill always be here, forever and always" he said holding her tighter.
"Promise?"
"Promise."
