Julie sat at the bottom of the stair case breathing heavily. Its like she couldnt catch her breath. Breathing as if there was a force pushing on her chest, trying to stop her from letting in a deep breath. Julies never felt this before, but she was scared. Her hands slightly shaking, tears slowly falling down her face as she whimpered quietly for someone to save her from the feeling. Yet no one came.

She sat there for god knows how long until a familiar voice behind her pops up. "Julie?" The voice asks, and when julie turned her head its carrie standing there. Her ex- bestfriend. The girl who used to know julie better then anyone. The one who had helped julie for the first month after the passing of her mother. The girl who julie used to love more than anyone, the one who sat in julies room as they planned there futures together. Now they were nothing. Nothing but strangers passing each other in the hallway every now and then. Two completely different people, who found there own people, there own friends. Yet julie longed for her every now and then. She missed there friendship, not that shell ever admit it out loud, but she does a lot.

Julie could feel her breathing get worse as carrie stood there watching her. She felt pathetic, crying infront of her ex-bestfriend. When carrie heard julies breaths start to get quick and light she knew what was happening. Her dad had these a lot, you know the stress of being a celebrity. Without hesitation carrie sat down besides julie grabbing her hand, squeezing it tight.

"Julie" she says, trying to prevent her voice from cracking from the tears welling up in her eyes. "Jules" she says, the familiar nick name guiding right out of her mouth, as if the past two years never happened. "Im going to need you to look at me, okay" she says and julie turns her head slowly, her breaths still short and light. Carrie smiles, "remember that night, two years ago the three of us, me, you and flynn had spent the entire night learing the dance routine to were all in this together cause we wanted to go to east high so bad" she says and a small giggle escapes julies mouth, as she nods remembering that night as well. Carries lips stretch into a larger smile as she sees her breathing to slow down. "And remember that one night we had spent the whole day to set up pranks on my dad to convince him there was a ghost in the house" she says softly, gaining a larger giggle from julie. Julie nods.

"Y-your dad d-didnt let you l-leave your room for a-a week" she says, still trying to control her breathing. Carrie lets a giggle slip as well as the two sit together.

After a couple of minutes the three boys come running towards julie with worried looks on their faces. They take a good look at julie before realizing right besides her was carrie.

"Um, i should go" she says, flashing a small smile to julie and then standing up and walking away, the three boys eyeing her as she exists the room.

"Did she do anything to you" Luke asks, sitting behind julie so he could take her into his embrace. She snuggles close to him before nodding her head.

"No" she answers simply and the three boys exchange glances, before looking back at julie.

"Well, are you okay" alex says, referring to julies swollen eyes, her tear stained cheeks, and her red eyes. julie nods, slightly rubbing her forehead against lukes chest.

"I feel great" she confesses "but can we stay like this longer" she says and luke nods.

"Whatever you need julie"
