"We're going to take you in for questioning, is that okay?" A lady with blonde hair and kind eyes tells you.
You nod your head, giving them a little lip quiver. You feel the eyes of the tall, thin figure who found you in the dark burning into your skin. You look up at him with the saddest look you can conjure up. He locks eyes with you for a split second, then looks at the ground.
"Can you tell us what happened?" A woman with dark hair asks you.
You keep your eyes down, hugging your arms close to your torso. Look as scared as possible. You look up at the attractive black man for a second, then avert your eyes back to the table in front of you.
The brunette sets her hand on the table gently, leaning in. "Would you feel better if it were just you and me?"
She thinks I'm scared of men, if only she knew me. You nod your head, pretending to push tears back.
She nods her head at the muscled man and he slips out of the room silently. You know he, among the others, are watching from the one way glass, listening in.
"Can you tell me your name?"
"Y-y/n," you stammer out.
"Y/n, I'm Emily. Can you tell me what happened?"
"I don't remember all of it," you keep your voice low, hardly meeting her brown eyes. "They took me... off the street. I-I was with my friend, she left for a second and, and they took me." You let a tear fall from your eyes, wipe it away, and set your "shaking" hand on the table in front of you.
Emily puts her hand over yours. "How many were there?"
"Two, maybe three." You give her a slight shrug.
"Men?"
"Men," you whisper and nod your head.
"Do you know when this was?"
"Maybe two days ago... I'm not entirely sure."
"What did they... what did they use you for?"
"They just," you sniffle, "they just watched me for a while as they talked. Then one of them grabbed me and made me strip. They watched me, all of them. And-" You break out into sobs, voice cracking.
"It's okay. It's okay. We can finish this later." Emily helps you up, holding you lightly by the arm.
She leads you out of the interrogation room, walking past all the other agents. Emily sits you down on the couch in the precinct and hands you a water bottle. "Thank you," you say softly.
Emily disappears in the direction of the others. You hear the words they speak, but you have to strain to understand since they're so quiet. "How can we be sure she wasn't in on it? Why would they just have a girl?"
"Did you see the way she looked? That's not the look of a gang member."
"Okay, but keep watch."
You see the man who was just speaking, the tall muscled man who was also in the room with you and Emily. He walks out, passing you with a look of suspicion in his gaze. You look up to him with the saddest eyes you can give.
The blonde haired lady along with the lengthy man with fluffy brown hair approach you. Before one of them can say anything you say, "I don't have anywhere to go."
