Chapter 2: She's Looks So Perfect

~Xander's POV~

" Good Morning Maddy, " I say cheerfully while embracing her.

" Morning Xander. " Maddy replies sleepily.

I just smile back and head into the Gymnasium.

I was holding a sign for the Martin Luther King Jr. March that we do every year. I was standing near the side of the gym waiting for everyone to finish announcements and speeches. I played with Maddy's hair, twirling it around my finger. ' She Looks so perfect. ' I thought to myself. Maddy playfully elbowed me in the gut getting my attention.

" What? " I ask.

" C'mon your supposed to lead us out. Lets go. " She says impatiently.

" Oh yeah! Thanks. " I said while chuckling.

Maddy and I lead the way to The " Groves View Public Library and Park." I stand right up front holding the sign proudly. As we wait for the Other School, Lake View, to arrive, I talk with my best buddy, Alex Jones.

They start playing the song " Man in the Mirror " by Michael Jackson. I start to sing along to the lyrics. I felt someones eyes burning into the back of my head. I turn around to find a adorable looking girl. She has long blonde curly locks. ' I just want to run my hands through them. ' I think to myself. She has a beautiful pearl white smile and beautiful blue orbs staring right back at me. She has a small petite frame and was wearing a Donatello Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Snapback over those Beautiful golden locks of hers.

I smiled at her and realized I'm staring. I quickly turn around and put my arm around Maddy and hug her close. I watch the blonde girl from the corner of my eye. I see her frown then turn to her friend whispering something to her. I could only assume it was about me. I tried to ease drop but Maddy Got my attention and pulled me out of my thoughts about the girl.

" Helllooooo??? Anybody there? Xander you there? " she said snapping her fingers in front of my face.

" Huh? Oh, uh yeah. " I reply smiling at my beautiful girlfriend.

" Ok, you had me worried there! " said said letting out a breath.

The rally then started as I watched the first speaker came up on the stage.

~LE TIME SKIP~
*next morning*

I was walking through the hallway, on my way to lunch with Maddy, Alex and Brynleigh Davis. As I was laughing along with my friends i suddenly stopped, seeing some blonde hair. I quickly turn my head and see that beautiful girl from yesterday. I find her staring back at me and she quickly looks away.

I sigh and turn back to my friends and head off to lunch.
