Chapter 10: Maddy's Back

~Xander's POV~

On the first page of our story,

The future seemed so bright

Then this thing turned out so evil,

I don't know why

I'm still surprised.

" Hello? " I ask groggily.

" Xander! Hey babe, want to go to for a coffee? " the person says.

I sit up, wide awake.

" Maddy?! "

" Yeah duh who else? "

"...."

" So want to get a coffee or what? "

" I told you, we are through! " I clench my teeth.

" I know silly! I just want to talk. "

" Whatever I got to go maybe some other time. " I hanging up.

I set my phone on my desk as I get up to get dressed for the day.

~TACO TIME WARP~Emilie's POV~

I open my locker and dump my books in there and grab my American Study textbook. As I was about to close my locker, someone or something already closed it for me. I whip my head about to tell off the person for almost hitting my fingers when I see Xander and my face softens.

" H-hey " I say hugging the book.

" May I walk you to class? " he asks linking our arms together.

I nod.

~ OLD BAGGY WRINKLY OLD MAN TIME SKIP~

I walk out of the classroom to find a trail of rose petals leading down the hallway. I follow it to see that it leads out the front of the school. I see Xander standing at the end of the trail, holding a bouquet of flowers.

" Emilie Storm, will you do me the honors, of being my girlfriend? "

I run up to him and hug him tight.

" I would like that. " I say smiling like an idiot.

~Xander POV~

I finished putting the last few rose petals on the ground as I heard the bell ring. I grab the bouquet that i set on the ground a d picked it up, waiting for Emilie.

She soon arrived looking more beautiful in the sun, than I could ever imagine.

" Emilie Storm, would you do me the honors, of being my girlfriend? "

I was met with a pair of arms wrapped around me.

" I would like that " she said smiling.

~Xander's POV~

" What do you want Maddy? " I practically hiss through the phone.

" Just meet me at Starbucks in 10. I promise it will be worth while. " she said hanging up before i could reply.

I sigh obviously not having a choice.

' Well I do have a choice but I just want to see what happens. '

I arrive at Starbucks, taking a deep breath and pull open the door. I am met with a pair of warm arms around me. I pull them away.

" What do you want Maddison? " I say using her full name, knowing that she knows I want to get straight to the point.

" Oh nothing just..." She trails off looking at something behind me.

She then kisses me and wraps her arms around my neck so I cant pull away. I hear the bell of the door, of someone leaving. I pulls back and look behind me quickly. I saw Emilie back away from us and start to run away.
