Rose spent the extra time she had making sure the rest of the house was spic and span. There wasn't much left to be done, but she wanted to be extra sure of herself. She wanted everything to be perfect for the gathering that was somehow bound to be interesting. She couldn't place her finger on it, but something made this year's family reunion fated to be unforgettable.
Her husband, Amaruq Harou, was in town getting the last of the necessary hardwares. For some reason, everything just had to be perfect. Normally, he'd ask her if it were really all that important, but he's been feeling these impulses as well. They both took it as a sign to kick it into overdrive, and kick it they did.
They just hoped that their son was as prepared as they were.
Briggan was terrified. There was no way he'd ever be able to prepare for something like this. He felt like he was falling apart from the inside out.
"Honey, I need you to breathe. We don't need another seizure."
"I-I'm trying to be as calm as I can," Briggan tried so hard not to pass out from hyperventilating from the panic that was now seeing in. His mind and soul were in a state of absolute chaos
Mastace hugged his boyfriend from behind and let a gentle purr resonate from his throat. The vibration, working alongside the steady pace of noise was enough to get the shaking to cease. At least we're making some progress, he thought. Something told him that the road ahead was about to get the rockiest they've ever had to face, but at least they'd face it together.
