'Yes, I'm still human! Shut up!'

Luz charmed a smile at the parents who stood aback by it.

"Hm... It would seem we underestimated how capable you are with magic, Luz." Alador said while looking around.

Luz chuckled.

"It's not a problem, Mr. Blight, it happens more often than you'd expect." She said as she turned a shoe around to lead the way through the large place.

"Come along, please, the prepared table is this way and the chefs and waitresses could be dying to greet you all." She added while putting her hands behind her back.

Odalia grinned and nudged her husband by the shoulder. Alador perked up by the sudden gesture towards him.

"Now just a moment," she called out.

"The devil." She added.

Luz flinched and stopped in her footsteps. Although it wasn't visible that she flinched, Odalia swore she saw it clear as daylight.

"Yes?" Luz asked.

Odalia placed a hand under her chin as she asked, "just how powerful are you, the devil?"

Luz kept a smile plastered on her face as she raised a brow over the sudden call out.

Her hands gripping tightly unto nothing behind her back as she forced  a sly chuckle and said, "please, Mrs. Blight, you don't need to be this formal towards me."

"You can call me by my name." She continued.

Amity smiled.

Somehow, she saw a cute side to Luz's sudden actions. She doesn't even realize how tight Luz's heart was feeling over the name her mother was calling her.

"If so... Someone like you must be very powerful enough to defeat my husband in a small witch's duel, right, the devil?" Odalia wondered.

The twins perked up in surprise at what their parents had said.

"Mom..!" Amity yelled softly towards Odalia who chuckled her off.

Luz hummed, still smiling, her hands were close to wanting to rip someone's head off.

'I don't like that title...' she thought before saying, "I'm not sure what you mean, Mrs. Blight."

Odalia was having the nerve to challenge Luz into a fight.

Alador cleared his throat, making it loud and clear for everyone to hear for him to speak what he has in mind of the situation he was in.

"If I may, can I ask if there's something you want to be done, dear?" He asked.

Odalia smiled pleasingly towards Alador as she tucked her hands behind her back.

"I was wondering how strong the devil would be towards you, dear husband." She said.

Alador felt a trickle of sweat behind his back as he forced a grin under a hand and chuckled.

"Well, if so. Is it alright for me to challenge, Luz out on a duel?" He asked, glancing towards the twins and Amity.

Amity frowned, she didn't like where this was going at all.

'No... Dad! Mom! What are you trying to do here..!?' her mind was in a panic.

Luz hummed before her smile finally dropped into a frown.

"A witches duel, hm..." She wondered for a bit before she made up her mind.

"As Amity's parents wish, I'll gladly do it." She said.

Amity perked up and walked over to her.

"You don't need to do this, Luz." She said.

Luz smiled as she began taking her gloves off.

"It'll be fine, Amity, I promise not to kill anyone." She said.

"Luz!" Amity whined.
