This update is pretty late at night, but I wanted to get it out since Wattpad will be unavailable tomorrow morning.

                                                                                   ~~~
Mai never thought that she would find a kindred spirit in Toph, but there they were, jamming out to death metal in Zuko's car, screaming the excessively profane lyrics for everyone in the prissy, uptight neighborhood to hear. And Mai was on top of the world until her phone vibrated in her pocket. It was Suki.
Azulas here we need help
Mai sighed.
"I going to go help them. You stay here. In 20 minutes, drive the car up in front of the mansion."
"Mai, I'M BLIND!"
"Whatever," Mai ruffled her messy, untamed hair, "I'm sure you'll figure it out." She put her phone back into her black handbag and started walking towards the mansion. She had been to Azula's place before. There were around five sliding glass doors on the ground floor. All she had to do was distract Azula long enough for Suki, Sokka and Zuko to get out. She walked up to the gate. There was no one to open and close the gate, so Azula had probably paid them to leave for the weekend. Of course Azula couldn't be bothered to close the gate, so it was left wide open for Mai. She sighed and walked up to the front door. She hesitated for a moment, before shrugging and ringing the doorbell. She heard the sounds of footsteps and realized too late that there were two people answering the door. It swung open, revealing Azula, and a few feet behind her, Ty Lee.
"Mai?! What are you doing here?"
"I-" Mai composed herself, "I wanted to talk to you two."
                                                                ~~~

Zuko stood in his old bedroom, that was filled to the brim with remnants of his past. But he was looking for a specific remnant. First he checked under his bed, and found a few slips of paper with Mai's poetry on them, in her elegant, slanted handwriting. Zuko quickly realized that he was going to want to take some things home with him, so he grabbed a messenger bag from the corner and started randomly throwing things into it. First, the photo of his mother, with her beautiful, kind eyes. Next, one of Uncle's teapots. Zuko didn't know what it was doing in his room, but he was sure Iroh would want it back. He put an entire notebook full of Mai's poetry in the bag, along with some fantasy books that his Mom used to read to him. So many memories, all of them were gone. His mother was out there somewhere, but there wasn't really any chance of finding her. Zuko sighed, and was about to continue looking for the box when he heard the sound of a car pulling up in the driveway.

Azula. He ran up to the balcony and saw Azula and Ty Lee walking inside, then he quickly locked the door to his bedroom. He would look for a few more minutes, then, if he didn't find the money, he would leave. Zuko checked the messenger bag to make sure everything that he wanted was in there, before realizing that there was a hidden pocket on the inside. He unzipped it, and saw the flat, blue box with the golden embroidery of two dragons. Zuko carefully opened it to make sure that there were seven crisp, hundred dollar bills inside. Satisfied, he closed the box, put everything into the messenger bag, and went back out to the balcony. Without hesitation, he jumped off of the balcony, and used firebending to break his fall. Now he just needed Sokka and Suki to get out.

                                                                     ~~~
Suki cautiously opened the door to the storage room and stepped out, Sokka following suit. They had found two scarves in the storage room that they used to cover their faces so Azula wouldn't recognize them.
