Part 4

Dream's POV

'What is that sound'

Opening my eyes I am staring through a mask straight at a pretty sunrise and I can hear the ocean waves splashing.

I stand up and dust the sand off of my clothes and look around. 'This look like Minecraft'

I remove the mask looking at the black painted smile on it before returning it to my face. Retying the mask took so work but it will get easier.

A few moments pass as I am just staring into the ocean before me.

'How did I get on an island'

As I start looking around for my phone a voice starts talking and a message appears in front of me.

"Hello player, welcome to the challenge. Here in this world you will be tested in every way possible, your only goal is to pass the tests and survive. The challenges will get harder as you pass each on and will end once you die or complete the final challenge, killing the Ender Dragon. There are other players you can meet up with. Once you meet them your challenges will be synced. All players have a unique ability to give them an advantage. Blue is an adventurer and can find anything and anyone, green can combat anything and has a protection advantage, black can communicate with anyone over any distance, purple however can build anything. Your first challenge is to get to the mainland. Good luck, enjoy your stay in Minecraft"

The message disappears and the inventory takes its place.

"How do I get rid of this stupid inventory"

Swiping my hands in front of me trying to get the Minecraft inventory to go away I accidentally hit the wrist watch.

'Well at least now I kind of know what is going on'

I see the one tree on my island and I walk over to it and start to punch it. Sure enough a block breaks and I am able to pick it up and place it into my backpack.

I continue to punch the tree until I have all the blocks and I pick them up and place them in my bag.

'How am I not getting hot. I'm literally in my normal green sweatshirt, jeans, and my white mask. It is a really cool mask though'

Tapping the watch I open the inventory and make a crafting table. Placing the wood along the bottom and on the sides I make a boat.

"Okay, just a long boat ride then I can try to find the others, but which direction?"

I look around for any sort of clue as to where to go when I see a piece of paper where the tree used to be.

I jog over to it and pick it up.

'It's a picture of a compass, but it actually moves'

I turn to where the compass is pointing and get in my boat and set sail.

'Who knows how long I will be riding'

Sapnap's POV

I feel a tap on my shoulder trying to wake me up.

"Five more minutes mom"

A few seconds later something jumps on my face and I shoot up.

"What was that for!"

I look around expecting to see my room and my bed, but instead I am met with the colorful sand of a mesa biome and a rabbit that just jumped on my face.

'Where am I'

I get up and dust myself off seeing that I am in my Minecraft skins clothes, I even have on the head band.

Looking around I see a tall hill and start to climb to the top of it, the little rabbit following behind me.

"Woah, I have to be dreaming"

I rub my eyes to try and focus on what is going on when a voice interrupts me.

"Hello player, welcome to the challenge. Here in this world you will be tested in every way possible, your only goal is to pass the tests and survive. The challenges will get harder as you pass each on and will end once you die or complete the final challenge, killing the Ender Dragon. Slowly with each passing challenge the real world will start to merge with this world making the challenges more difficult. You however are not alone, there are other players spread around around the world. Your first challenge is to head to the south beach. Good luck, enjoy your stay in Minecraft"

"The south beach? How do I know which way is south?"

Looking up at the sun I see that it is going across the sky.

'Rise in the east, set in the west'

"So if that is West, and that is East then that ways must be South"

I smile down at the little rabbit feeling proud of myself. I gently reach down and pick him up.

"You are going to come with me"

I set off in the direction I have figured out to be south. I realize I have no clue how to find the other players or how to get resources.

Looking down at my watch to check the time the watch doesn't turn on so I tap it and the inventory opens.

'Well that's how I see my inventory"

Tapping it again I get it to disappear and I can see my hunger and hearts.

'I need to find some food, and fast'

Speeding up to a slow sprint I come to the edge of the Mesa and I enter a desert.

"What's that over there. A village!"

Picking up my pace a little more I arrive at the village.

"Hello, is anyone here!" I yell hoping to see a player.

"What are you, blind?" A voice says from behind me.

Spinning around I come face to face with an angry looking villager.

"What, not I'm sorry I didn't realize I could speak to you. Do you have any spare food, I have a long trip ahead of me."

"Go get some bales of hay and get out of here. You don't want to be here during nightfall"

The villager turns and walks away leaving me alone with the bunny.

We walk over to the hay bales and I start to punch it and sure enough it breaks into a block.

After getting the bales I find a crafting table and turn it into bread and set off on my way again.

I spend about two hours walking when I see the beach ahead of me and I start to sprint towards it.

As I near the shore I drop down exhausted and I eat a piece of bread giving some to the bunny. Getting bored of just sitting there I tap on the watch and I see above the inventory that I completed my challenge.

I sit there for a few more minutes, smiling to myself after completing the first challenge, and watching the sunset when I see a small figure heading towards me in a boat.

"What is that?"
