Part 19

(Nicks' speak is in bold)

"So do you know how George is here"

"What do you mean"

"Well he died, I thought we were only supposed to get one life, so how is he here"

"I'm not really sure, when Dream and I were walking back he kind of just came back to life and wouldn't really tell us much about it."

I nod blankly as I feel the tears forming in my eyes.

"I thought I lost one of you"

Nick looks down at me and I can see that it is hurting him to see me cry. He reaches out and takes my hand in his.

"Y/n, it's okay, we are all still here. You can't get rid of us that easily, we are the Dream Team after all"

I let out a small chuckle as the last of my tears run down my face. He stops our walk and turns me towards him and lifts his other hand placing it on my cheek and wiping away my tears with his thumb.

"You're too pretty to cry y/n"

I smile a genuine smile and look up at the raven haired boy lifting my hand to rest it on top of his that is still caressing my cheek. He smiles back, dropping his hand and pulling me into a hug, his hands wrapping around my waist as mine go around his neck.

"What would I do without you."

"Probably be sad all the time"

Laughing we pull away from each other and continue our long walk to find a decent cave hand in hand. We joke around with each other and I feel like he is flirting with me, not that I minded.

Somehow our fingers end up interlaced as we walk for hours taking a few breaks every once in a while to rest our legs and drink some water. Soon enough the sun starts to go down and it gets cooler.

We take out our axes and start to clear some trees making space for a small house and a campfire for us to settle down for the night in.

(So I'm not done with this chapter and I have been really unmotivated recently but I figured I would post what I have)
