Opal, Fjord and Richie stepped into the hallway. It was dimly lit and shadows danced over the wooden walls. Dust flew up from the red carpet below their feet, which made Richie sneeze. "Bless you," Opal whispered. "Thanks," Richie said in a low voice. Fjord stopped and turned to the other two. "Do you guys have your phones?" she asked. Opal and Richie looked at each other before reaching inside their pockets. When both shook their heads in response, Fjord stood still, thinking. "Nothing here is powered by electricity," she mumbled to herself. "It's like we've traveled back in time!"

Opal's and Richie's eyes widened. "What?" Opal said. "You're telling me we're in the past?"

"No, no, of course not," Fjord responded. "It's just strange. None of us remember anything. Not to mention that it looks like this mansion has been abandoned for years, but all the lamps and fireplaces are lit. It's just... strange."

Before Opal or Richie could respond, a loud thump came from behind Fjord. She spun round, peering into the dark. Opal took position behind Fjord, while Richie stood behind Opal. "Who's there?" Fjord called into the dark hallway. Something was moving in the dark corridor, just out of sight. It slowly moved closer. "Who are you?" Fjord called again, her voice shaking. The figure leaned up against the wall and slowly made their way towards them, running its hands along the wall. "There are three of you," a boy's voice came from the figure. Opal looked confused. "Well, duh!" she said. How did you possibly figure that out?" she continued in a sarcastic voice. The figure chuckled. "I could feel it," they said. "By the vibration of the floor. And your very loud conversations."

Richie peered over Opal's shoulder, looking confused. "Can't... can't you see us?" he said in a shaky voice. "I wish I could," the figure responded in a low voice. "But..."

The figure stopped talking as they stepped into the light. It was a small Inkling boy, with light-green hair and a green cap and a grey hoodie. But that wasn't what caught everyone's attention to the boy. It was his eyes. They were pale and empty, like they were staring into nothingness. Fjord stepped in closer and waved her hand in front of the boy's eyes. No reaction. "Are you... blind?" she said after a short pause. The boy said nothing for a while, but then nodded his head slowly. "Sorry to hear that," Opal said, taking a step closer. The boy looked in her direction and tried to smile. "It's okay," he said in a low voice. Fjord scratched her head. "What's your name?" she asked. The boy looked in her direction, his pale eyes staring right through her. "My name is Camo," he replied in a low voice. "Nice to meet you Camo!" Opal said. "My name is Opal!"

She reached for his hand to shake it. Camo was startled when she touched it, but then shook it. "My name is Fjord," Fjord said. "And the boy you hear is Richie."

"Richie nodded towards Camo, but then remembered that the boy couldn't see him and looked down at his own feet. Fjord looked down the corridor where Camo had come from and then looked back at him. "Do you remember anything?" she asked. "Anything about how we ended up here?"

It took Camo a few seconds to respond, but he then shook his head. Fjord sighed. "Well, we're trying to find a way out of here. Wanna join us?"

"Yes," Camo responded. Fjord smiled and turned around. "Come on then," she said. "The sooner we get out of here, the better."

The other three started to follow her, but Camo was having a hard time. "Want me to help you?" Opal asked. Camo looked in her direction and smiled. "Thank you," he whispered and reached out his hand. Opal smiled and took his hand, leading him through the darkness while Richie followed close behind.

They came into another big hall, almost identical to the dance hall they had just come from. Fjord looked around stunned. "Two dance halls in one mansion?!" she said. "This is seriously messed up."
