Mortals Meet Percabeth

Percy was being unusually quiet. 19 year old boys are never quiet. Especially not Percy, he always had something to say. It was a beautiful night so Percy and I had decided to go spread a blanket out on the beach and look at the stars. We did this every once and a while, and every time Percy spotted Zoe's constellation I could see the remorse in his eyes. Tonight was different, because like I said, Percy was too quiet.

"Annabeth," Finally!

"So I guess you are going to talk tonight?'' He eyed me suspiciously and then went back to talking.

" remember when we were 14 and I went yo save you from Atlas?"

"Duh, seaweed brain, how could I forget!" Percy turned on his side to face me. His eyes shone bright under the brightly, glowing stars.

"I wanted to let you know that that's when I really knew I liked you.." In the dark I could still see his shy blush. Oh.

I laughed."I think everyone knew that point...that you liked me. But don't worry," I said kissing him on the cheek. "I liked you too." We both smiled. Percy moved closer to me and turned onto his back again while holding my hand. Before we fell asleep under the stars I could here Percy whispering sweet nothings into my ear.
