Blake's POV
I told her to wait me in the bar since I need to get some things in my room and have to check on my speedboat. It's been 3weeks that I haven't used it for island hopping. Well I can use it anytime I want since there's a maintenance who always looked after it.
Pabalik na sana ako ng bar ng biglang humarang si Priscilla pag labas ko ng hotel.
“mukha atang busy ka lagi uh?” tanong nito sakin habang kibit balikat na nakatayo sa harap ko.
“may pupuntahan ako ngayon. I'm staying at the rest house tonight.” sagot ko.
“ohh. . kasama yung babae mo?” taas kilay na tanong nito.
I smirk. Alam kung naiinis sya kapag nakikipagkita ako sa ibang babae. She already admitted it. Priscilla likes me. Pero nasabi ko na sa kanya ang feelings ko. She's just a friend. And I don't want to ruin the friendship that we have. We knew each other since we we're little. We're childhood friends. And I know that she knows me so well. That's why she became my personal assistant since she's one of the person whom I trust.
“girlfriend.” sagot ko.
“excuse me?”
“you heard it. That girl you're talking about? She's my girlfriend.”
“agh! No way?!” she stomped her feet. This is why I adore her. If only you knew her, she's still acting like a child. “but you never mentioned you're dating her! Is this the reason why you're always gone every night?”
“hmm, kinda. She's alone in her cabin. So I have to make sure she have company every night. One of boyfriends’ responsibility is to make sure her girlfriend is safe, right?”
“but-- but I thought you're just flirting with her. Isn't she a one night stand? Besides, she's not from around here.”
“c’mon Pris, why don't you be happy for me? I'm serious about her. This time, I won't let her go. I'm not gonna make the same mistake again, just like what happened to me and Samantha.”
She bit her lower lip and slightly nod.
“come here.” I hug her then pat her head. “I don't want you to be sad. But, I found the right girl for me. And I want her so much. I hope you understand. Can you please be happy for me at least?”
“I know I will. But it's too sudden for me. How can I accept this?”
“don't isolate yourself to your work. Don't worry, when we get back to Manila I'll give you a leave. Anywhere you want, including the tickets and expenses.” I wink.
“Paris?” tanong nito habang nag p-pout.
“what?! You’ve been there last year.” sambit ko ng maalalang dun din sya galing last year. And the expenses. Agh! Hindi ko na sya papayagang bumalik dun.
“hmm, but that's my favorite place.”
“well. . Ang dami pa namang ibang lugar na pwede mong puntahan uh. Not just Paris. You are there like every year.”
