Chapter five

~Y/NS POV~

"Uuuugh I'm so tired" I say, put my hand on my face, shading my eyes.

"Same here. I mean, we could camp out, this is a perfect place." He says, putting his bag down, motioning to the clearing ahead of us.

"Dipper, you know Bill wouldn't like it and Mabels probably bored Bill with every possible thing she could talk to him about. Let's just walk back to the shack" Dipper looked like he was going to protest, but gave up.

"Ok...." he says, sounding disappointed. He grabbed his bag and slung it onto his back. Dipper led the way as we journeyed back to the shack. I dug into my bag to find a flashlight I could use since the moonlight was barely bright enough to see. Dipper saw me and did the same. Wind started to pick up a little as we walked.

"You think it'll rain?" I ask. "The wind is getting pretty strong."

"I don't know, I can't really see the sky all that well. Maybe? I don't remember seeing all that many clouds." Dipper replied. All of a sudden, wind started to blow against us until we couldn't stand.

"Dipper?!" I said, really worried "Why in the world is there this much wind?!" I ask. "Did we miss something in the weather? Is this normal?"

"I-don't- know" he says struggling to walk, gripping onto a branch to launch himself up against a tree. He grabbed my hand and we sat down as the wind pushed us up flat against the tree.

"Dipper, I'm scared" I say.

"Me to Y/n, Me too.." he said. I grabbed his hand and put my head on his shoulder. Why does this feel so wrong?

"Maybe camping out isn't such a bad idea" I said. "I don't think we can get home"

"Maybe" he said putting his head on mine. I felt his soft brown hair as the rough wind howled around us. Dipper pulled out a blanket and wrapped it around us. It was so soft and warm that I fell asleep almost instantly.

"Dipper you're the best" I said softly, snuggling up closer to him. 'Stop, move away' a voice in my head said.

"Thanks, you're not too bad yourself" He said. We fell asleep under the stars as the wind died down just the slightest bit.

You wake up in a startle and see dipper dead on the floor beside you, blood gushing out everywhere. He was scratched up and had huge bite marks all over his body. You look up to see a shadowy figure, the size of the mystery shack, with glowing green eyes and a brown snout as if it were a dog of some sort. It let out a low growl and snarled. You grab Dipper, crying and turn away from the beast. You look down at Dipper and run your hands through his hair and hold him tighter as you cried. The beast came into the sun light and you turned around. It had huge claws and a head the size of the gift shop. It opened its mouth to reveal hundred of teeth that were as sharp as a blade. It's brown fur looked as soft as the blanket that had wrapped around you and Dipper. It was kinda beautiful. It pounced out at you and lifted its paw in the air. You grab Dipper tightly as you feel darkness surround you...

~Y/NS POV~
I woke up in a sweat. I was at home in my bed. I looked around confused. 'Oh my god where's Dipper' I thought, internally panicking. I lept out of bed.

"Dipper's fine, Sundrop." Bill says. I look over to the corner and see Bill sitting in midair starring at me intensely.

"What happened last night?" I asked, groggy.
