AND THEN THERE'S AURORA, AKA RORY, who automatically earned the nickname Sleeping Beauty when we'd first met her.
She's a softie for the Pogues and a hardass to everyone else. Next to JJ, this right here is my best friend. Even though we know her well, Rory's still kind of an anomaly to us. On the rare occasion she isn't with us, we have no clue where she is. She doesn't talk about it and we don't ask. She could be an escaped convict for all we know. Or worse— a Kook.
So she's this insanely talented poet, even though she refuses to share anything she writes with the rest of the world. I feel pretty sure she's the most foul-mouthed out of all of us too— which is really saying something.
The funny thing about Rory is she has this insane depth of understanding when it comes to all of us, but I don't think she can ever really figure out herself.
Also, she's one hundred percent in love with Pope. You know, the brilliant but socially awkward future forensic pathologist I was telling you about before? It's so painstakingly obvious that the feeling is mutual— I think the rest of us are slowly losing our minds from watching the two of them like this for so long. I'm sure one of these days they'll grow a pair and finally admit it to each other, but until then, you didn't hear it from me.
