Prologue

"Where is Reika?!?" Tobirama had slammed his fist on the desk as he stares into Jiraya's eyes as he looks down in shame.

"Hank happened." It was Kisame that had spoken up.

The sounds of chains rattling can be heard followed by the sound of a body falling onto the floor. Pale blue eyes seemingly void of life looks up at the painfully familiar face of one Itachi Uchiha. He looks down at the blonde woman before him wearing the usual Akatsuki attire.

"I see you're awake." His voice like velvet bounced off the walls of the cell.

Reika didn't move nor did she dare look up to make eye contact.

"Who are you?" He asked her.

That was a question Reika has asked herself for nearly five years now. 'What do I do, Kurama?' she asked the fox to have no one answer.

'I should have known there would be no answer. He hasn't spoken since Hank threw me through that seal.' She looked down as she spoke quietly, "Reika. My name is Reika."

"Hn." He stood up silently observing the woman. 'She looks just like Naruto.' He observed a little too well as Reika closed her eyes. He could sense she was putting chakra out in a very peculiar way as she had lost consciousness.

He walked out of the cell and towards Leader-sama's office. He knocked waiting for permission.

A few minutes passed before he heard, "enter" and he obeyed. Pein glanced up allowing him to know his silent command.

"Her name is Reika. She is a sensory type with a habit of always checking her surroundings even when she is asleep. Her chakra is unstable but is also sealed to prevent any outbreaks. Most of her chakra is sealed, but from what is not, she already surpasses Kisame's chakra reserves." He reported in monotone. His voice and face void of any emotion.

"Convince her to join the Akatsuki." Itachi nodded his head. "Dismissed." Itachi left the office.

Meanwhile back with Tobirama...

"WHERE IS MY DAUGHTER?!?" A frantic Minato yelled as he barged into the office.

Everyone in the room had flinched save for Tobirama who was busy with his hands on the desk as he glared menacingly at Jiraya, Haku, Kisame, and Zabuza.

"So there was five of you, and one of him. Yet. He. Still. Won?" Killer intent was everywhere as it kept clawing its way to the forefront of Tobirama's mind.

Even Minato had paused to look at Tobirama weirdly. "He had experimented on his own body. Every time we had diced him up, there was this black goo that kept him in one piece." Zabuza defended.

"Not to mention, none of our attacks were working except kenjutsu style," Kisame added.

"Nothing we threw at him slowed him down. Even Reika didn't know what to make of it, except she had this theory he was using seals." Haku added.

"And testing that theory is what got her taken. Whatever he did, they are both gone." Jiraya was looking straight at Tobirama who was losing more and more control over the seal Reika had put on him to hide his alternate personality created by endless massacres and timeless war.

"Hokage sama?"

"Her seal is weakening. It will come out soon if we do not find her." He explained. Everyone grew grim at this news. None of them knew why he had demanded them to return early, but it was clear now exactly how much he relied on Reika to stay sane.

"If she is not back in several months, I will have to leave for the safety of the village." He looked to Minato. "Will you be willing to take back the hat, lord third, if I must leave?"

Minato's eyes grew with determination as he gave a firm nod. "Maybe I can help with the seal. I know my daughter has very complex seals and I won't be able to do much, but it should slow down the inevitable giving us more time to find her."

Tobirama nodded his head allowing Minato to see if he can help in any way. Kami knows he needs all the time he can get.

Itachi, who was quiet this entire time, looked out the window as a lone crow flew across the view of that night. The moon shining in all its bloody glory. 'That presence. Maybe the answer is far simple than we are giving it credit for.'

Itachi closed his eyes sighing before he turned his attention to the group. "What if she is in a parallel world to ours?"
