"Man, this ramen sure is good, dattebayo!" Naruto happily slurped his ramen as laughter boomed from next to him.
A man in his older years with white spiky hair kept in a low ponytail was happily drinking sake while he watched Naruto eat his ramen. The blonde woman who sat on Naruto's other side smiled fondly at the boy next to her as she slowly ate her ramen.
'When was the last time I had bacon?' She thought to herself.
A certain fox decided to answer her from his slumber, "It was when Kushina had made it for you before the war."
'Oh yeah.' Her thoughts were quickly being consumed by torturous accusations she was making herself.
"Oi! Stop lowering yourself! There is no way you could have known, damnit!" He said growling at the negative thoughts she was sending herself.
Outside of her mind, Jiraya watched her with curiosity, yet a hint of suspicion as well. He watched as she twirled her finger across her bowl before she took a breath in. "Jiraya?" She had mumbled.
"Hm?" He looked to her with narrowed eyes.
"Do you think the world could understand?"
Jiraya was speechless. Could she be, no, that's not. Its not possible, is it?
"It depends on what you're inclining." He answered.
But to his surprise, it was Naruto who answered him, "She means to say, 'do you think its possible the world could understand each other and bring peace?'" He translated.
Jiraya was beyond shocked, he looked to his cup of sake as he thought. "I'll tell you what I do believe. I believe that the day will come that the world can truly understand each other."
He could have just said yes.
She smiled fondly, he noticed. He also noticed how big her bust is, but had to resist as she is most likely an enemy of the leaf. He can't trust her.
Reika was thinking back to when Naruto had came running to her about the chunnin exams.
Flashback
Naruto was sitting across Reika at his small apartment as the two were eating. Well, she was eating he was telling her of the written portion. She could hear him laugh about how Sasuke had his ass handed to him by Lee which is something she expected.
Even if he has been trained by Stallion, there has only been so much time since they started. And Sakura was a little nervous, but not nearly as much as she was before. She clearly had more muscle on her body than before, not to mention she has a knack for medical ninjutsu.
Reika had her memorize medical plants and poisonous ones too since Reika knew it was only a matter of time before the forest of death.
She had been training Hinata in secret since she is technically next in line to become head of the Hyuga clan. She would need permission to help train the others, for now, she would make do with what she can.
Hinata, in turn, had been more determined and less intimidated like she was in cannon. She still stutters every so often, but nearly as much as she used to, which is a huge accomplishment in its own right. Reika listened intently as Naruto explained what happened just after the exams when Anko came through the window.
Reika had then gave him advice on the forest of death saying, "make sure you know at all times who your teammates are. Make a password or something so that in case you guys get separated, you can know who is who." She had said.
Naruto nodded his head quickly writing this down so he wouldn't forget to tell Sasuke and Sakura of this. Reika then stood up causing Naruto to stand up as well and picked up her dish. Naruto had picked up his own and ran to do the dishes himself.
