Sasuke didn't know what to make of Stallion. He just reminded him so much of Itachi, but if he were to actually have helped him in his training. He even had caught himself almost calling him big brother, and that was a big no no.
Sasuke was opening up, forgetting his hatred for Itachi. And then there is Naruto. He will never admit it, but he was liking the new Naruto. No longer was he overly loud and boisterous. No longer was Naruto a clueless dobe.
Whoever Naruto was training with, wasn't just helping him skill wise, and for that, Sasuke was grateful. Yeah, Sasuke Uchiha, being grateful to someone he has no knowledge of.
Ha!
It was almost laughable. If he wasn't an Uchiha, he would laugh right now in front of Stallion, out of the blue.
But he won't because Uchiha's don't laugh, nor do they smile. So, he will do no such thing.
Instead, Sasuke worked on his jutsu, without the use of his sharingan, Stallion was teaching him instead of learning from Kakashi sensei. He had ditched one sensei for another. He didn't care. He was getting stronger. Nothing else mattered.
Only, he'd be lying to himself. He was getting stronger, yes that mattered. Its just he has come to see Stallion as family, so he is a tad bit paranoid that Stallion will hurt him just like Itachi did.
Stallion mattered, too.
Sasuke snapped out of his thoughts when he noticed a platinum blonde hair duck behind some bushes.
'What was Ino doing here?' He thought as he did the hand signs for the jutsu once more before puffing out a fire stream over the lake.
It wasn't the fireball jutsu, but it was close to it. He twitched when Ino gasped at the sight feeding his ego.
He smirked. 'Maybe she will get scared.' He frowned. 'Yeah right, like that's ever gonna happen. This is Ino I'm talking about here. She is in the top two of the most annoying stalking fangirls I have. Rivaling Sakura that is.'
Much to his surprise; however, she was not looking his way. Nope, she was staring at Stallion who sat under a tree meditating.
'Did I die and go to heaven?' He found himself questioning foolishly. Ino was not fangirling over him. He was being ignored by one of his stalkers.
Ino, on the other hand, was completely ignorant to Sasuke's inner discussion as she watched Stallion with keen eyes. 'I could use my mind transfer jutsu on him, but something tells me he won't ever fall for something so small.' She frowned. 'He probably knows I'm here.'
Stallion smirked. Yeah, he was well aware of the Yamanaka spying on him. Turns out, team 8 received a mission to gather information on his family.
'Impossible mission. They won't learn anything important unless we want them to learn.' An image of Reika popped inside his head. 'Unless Naruto gets involved. He may actually figure us out one day.'
Teamwork. Something so basic, yet so far out of reach for some of them. It would take a life and death situation for them to come together. His ear twitched at the sound of rustling leaves where a certain Nara was about to prepare for his family's secret jutsu.
Without a second thought, he opened his eyes yawning feigning ignorance. Look underneath the underneath. Another basic lesson. Deceit is easily underrated and that was the downfall of many shinobi he fought against.
"Sasuke," he called out calmly.
Sasuke looked up, "hn?" Sasuke rose a brow at the shadow stretching to join in and posses Stallion's shadow.
