Back In Time || tom riddle x harry

Tom's POV

"I can't believe you leave tonight" I said to harry pulling him into my arms and kissing him deeply

"I wish I could stay" he whispered as he started crying. I sighed and pulled him into my arms. we had about 10 minutes to the ball, we were going go leave early so harry can hug us all goodbye and then leave to his time again

"harry, I will wait for you. I'll be there when you get back" I promised him

"come on the two, if we don't leave now we will be late" severus said walking into the room. I grabbed Harry's hand and lead him out of the room.

small time skip

I pulled harry onto the dance floor and grabbed his waist with both my hands, he wrapped his arms around my neck and rested his head on shoulder

"tom" he mumbled

"yes darling?" I whispered back

"I'm scared I'm gonna get back to my time and you'll be in love with someone else" he mumbled wrapping his arms tighter around me.

"I would never harry, I promise" I said kissing the top of his head.

"you cant promise something like that tom" he mumbled pulling away

"you cant do much when you start to fall in love with someone" he said, tears forming in his eyes. I grabbed his face and kissed his deeply

"as true as that is I can't ever find my self falling for anyone but you" I whispered dancing us around again. he smiled sadly and kissed my cheek.

"hello!" severus said walking over to us looking rather cheerful

"what the bloody hell is wrong with you?" harry asked him

"I just made out with someone" he mumbled, harry fake gagged making us laugh

"okay then. who?" he asked

"it's definitely a one time thing, I dont like the guy I just... I wanted to know what it's like to make out with someone-"

"bloody hell shut up! who was the bloke?" I asked cutting him off

"Lucius Malfoy" he mumbled going red. harry started pissing himself laughing

"what?!" severus complained

"that's the father of one of my close friends back in my time" harry said. severus went red

"again, it's nothing... I'm not gay, or bi, or anything that involves liking men" he said shaking his head

"that's why you just made out with one" harry and I said in sync. severus went even more red and shoved us jokingly.

the rest of the night harry and i danced around the room holding each other close. I felt sick that I'll have to go so long without him but I know I'll see him again.

"Mr Potter" Dumbledore said walking over to us.

"it's time son" he said sadly. Harry's face dropped and he pulled me into his arms tightly. I picked him up and followed Dumbledore as he walked away. he lead us out of the room to the empty corridor and pulled out a weird looking necklace thing

"please! I want to stay!" harry cried gripping on to my robes tightly

"harry you will get back to your time and see him, you have my word" Dumbledore said. after a while harry pulled away and kissed me deeply before letting Dumbledore wrap the necklace around his neck and spin it for him a couple of times

"I love you" I whispered giving him one last kiss before he completely disappeared
