-Michael's point of view-
What kind of person deceives?
That thought corrupted my mind for two days straight. Never in my life had someone gone through so much to decieve me than (from what I guessed) Luke. It was a new feeling; along with my strange new feelings towards boys, but this one I did not like at all. And I did not know when the pain would end.
Hours of doing nothing in my solitary bedroom passed. It was now Monday, and I was finally allowed to leave the house that felt more like a prison for the first time in three days. But who knew what school would now be like for me.
Despite the source of my trouble leading back to school, I was still forced to go. I probably would have put up a bigger fight against my parents to not go, but a part of me wanted to see Luke again. I wanted to make him suffer. Or kiss him again; either one.
I never usually walked to school with anybody, because my only true friend, Calum, lived on the other side of town. So as I made my way to school on my own, my mind trailed back to Luke as always. How would he act around me now that I know what he's been doing? I made it quite clear to him on the phone on Saturday that I knew about it, so it would be interesting to whether he will pretend like nothing happened. If it did.
Walking up the steps leading to the entrance of the dreaded school, I spotted the blonde in the distance. He looked the same as he always does: dressed in dark colours and rather tired having been up in the middle of the night to watch the stars. The only difference this time was that I was not attatched to him with handcuffs. "Michael!" He caught up with me and smiled, opening his arms ready to hug me.
I declined the hug offer by backing away from the boy. "Yes?"
"I see you're still in a weird mood with me." Luke noted out loud, "why?"
I watched as Luke's excited expression fell to a sad one. My heart hurt a little at the sight, but I forced myself not to show it. After all, I'm mad at him. "You know why, you dick." I grunted, then shoved past Luke into the school.
Luke trailed behind me. "Actually, I don't."
I stopped, noticing the way every teacher in the corridor gave me a dirty look. They obviously heard the news. I groaned, then spun round to face Luke. "Doesn't the look on every teacher's face give you an idea, Luke? What did I do to deserve you ruining my life?"
Luke looked taken aback at my comment. His voice lowered to a confused tone. "Michael," he said calmy as he carefully looked at each teachers around us, "I promise you that whatever you're talking about is nothing to do with me."
"And now you're lying." I rolled my eyes. "Just fuck off, I'm busy with sorting your problem out."
The blonde still refused to give in as he grabbed my arm. He smiled innocently, "whatever it is, I want to help you."
Sighing, I nodded. Though I really shouldn't have given in, I wanted to spend time with the boy. And anyway, if things went well, I could guilt Luke in to confessing. "Fine." I began to make my way to Mr. Smith's office, "help me convince sir not to take me to prison."
**
Luke and I sat uncomfortably in Mr. Smith's office as we waited for him to sort through the newly found school files. It would be an understatement to say that the teacher's mood was a weird one, because he did not seem mad at me in the slightest for what I had been blamed for. Since starting this school, all I've been to the man is trouble. I was expecting him to explode on me with fury, not smile at me welcomingly.
