-Michael's point of view-

The red spray paint nearly glistened under the brightness of the head-teacher's office. I stepped back three feet to admire my work, then grinned as it went exactly how I planned. The words "Mr. Smith smells like shit" read on his, what used to be, white wall and a large illustration of the shit mentioned. I was pretty proud, to say myself.

It was after school hours, so I wasn't expecting to bump into anyone. The office was on the ground floor which meant that I could escape through the window. However, I also didn't consider the matter of a hidden burgular alarm.

As I jumped through the window, the motion scensor caught me and suddenly made a nearly deafening beep. Luckily I prepared for this, as I prepared for plan B: leave everything and run away as fast as I could.

"Students," Mr. Smith spoke as he paced the assembly hall. The entire school was called in the following morning to discuss an event, which was only assumably the event of my vandalism. "As I entered my office this morning, I came across probably the worst sight I could ever imagine as a head-teacher."

"Your face?" I called out, which earned giggles from students near me.

The teacher ignored me. "I will not repeat what it said, but in red paint read a rude assumption about me. I know it was one of you, and I want you to come clean about it so I can give you the punishment you deserve."

It didn't take a second's thought to not confess to the teacher. Mr. Smith may be book smart, but no way would he figure out it was me last night. Because I'm street smart. When the entire assembly room was silent, the teacher thought it would be appropriate to wait for a private confession. As conditioned, the students walked out one-by-one, leaving the hall empty except one person. Luke Hemmings.

It looked as if he were about to confess for my own prank by the scared look on his face, which seemed amusing, so I decided to eavesdrop on the conversation by hiding round the corner of the exit door.

"Sir, I think I know who vandalised your office." Luke said.

"Spill the beans, Hemmings." The teacher rolled his eyes.

"It was Michael Clifford, sir. I saw him running from the school late last night with a red spray paint bottle in his hand. He's always been a trouble maker, and I'm sorry about your wall." Luke looked up to the teacher innocently. My face dropped at his words. What did I do to that boy to make him snitch on me?

The teacher nodded. "Thank you for telling me, Hemmings. I'll deal with it as soon as possible."

Luke nodded, then started to move in my direction. I stared as he approached me, too stunned to hide myself. Yet it was what Luke did next that finally got my heart racing. He caught my eyes, and smirked at me.

If Luke wants to play games with me, he has another thing coming.
